Keep up the water, but add more fiber to your diet. Liquids are good to help keep things smooth and from drying out, but without the bulk that fiber creates, you can still easily get stopped up. Also, some people struggle with milk based protein causing constipation, but I'd try the fiber first. If you don't want to add fibrous foods, you can get metamucil and just drink that. GL!

As others have said, you need fiber. Metamucil works, actually tastes decent (orange-tangerine blend) and, weirdly, adds a citrus scent to your crap. Just be aware that it's method of action involves making you retain a bit of water in your gut until you actually evacuate it, and make you sure you chug / drink it VERY quickly after mixing, because it thickens quite quickly. Don't leave it sitting in the glass for 3 minutes. Also be aware Metamucil has some sort of diabetes interactions if memory serves, so maybe check that out if you're diabetic.
Other options would involve eating high fiber greens, salads, or, my personal favorite, broccoli.

Constipation: What is It and How to Prevent It
