You been to a Target or Walmart lately? Look at the sports card section. Almost guaranteed to be out of stock. Target and Walmart are considering not stocking retail sports cards anymore because they don't like empty shelves. Which I'm good with, give me that chit to stock in my store since they don't give me anything as is.

Nah, not at all. He was indicted for using fake social security numbers to open betting accounts at casinos, went to court over domestic violence charges and got banned from sports betting venues. This is the same scum bag piece of chit who sold a fake Jordan RC to Dave Park and refused to even talk to him about it to make the situation right.

Do you realize how much fraud there is in basketball cards? I could write a fukkin' book on that chit. Also, the guy who bought the 03/04 LeBron Exquisite RPA for 1.8 million is also a fukking scam artist, shocking that someone in a CEO position would do that...but then again, there was another one who retraced a Curry auto and swapped the patch out on one of the Curry RPAs. Anyway, the LeBron buyer scammed a guy out of high demand Kobe Bryant cards and the money.

My mom just gave me my dad's baseball cards and he had a bunch of Rookie Star Cards.

Just started looking into this again. I collected in the early 90s so my collection is literally trash.
I've been monitoring eBay and am astonished at what some of these signed graded cards are going for. Heck even some of the non signed rookie cards are going for a lot of money. Thinking about picking up a sealed box of Panini Draft Prizm and seeing if I can make my money back selling the good cards back individually. It comes with 1 auto so I will get it graded for sure. Thoughts?LOL @ people who follow politics

Someone tried to argue with me about signed cards in a hockey group. It was about a yzerman rc that was autographed. He said all autographed card lose their value. Even with showing him card sales of a bgs 8.5 selling for $65 and a psa authentic yzerman selling for $260 or something he kept arguing. Then he tried to bring up mantle. A 1952 PSA 1 sold for around 14k, a 1952 authentic auto sold for 97K. Some people are just dumb.

If you do this you will 98% most likely get raped. Idk how much the box is but if its nfl or nba its going to be 700+ which means you need to get over 700+ value from the box which you 99% won't. You will make money if you get lucky and get great hits. Or you could end up with raw cards worth $200. Alot of people grade the raw cards to make up the value but grading now takes months and is expensive af. I'm getting five cards back from grading next week, 3 of them got PSA 9s and 2 got PSA 10s. One of the 10s is worth $900 so I ain't even mad.
It all depends. Theres base cards just regular blank cards. Then there is cards that were produced signed, like the card company printed the card and then the player signed them with the company as the person supervising it. Then theres blank cards that you have that YOU take to the player at a game or spring training and get them to sign. In terms of value it will go 1) signed by player in front of company rep, 2) YOU get the player to sign it, 3) blank. But this is only for low end base cards, you don't want the player signing colored or numbered cards bc its worth more blank. For your Yzerman point there was two grades, one by BGS and one by PSA. The BGS was an 8.5 which was I'm assuming lower than the PSA grade, the higher the grade the more its worth. Autos will sell more depending on the product, but colored and numbered cards will sell for more than autos if the auto is a regular card if that makes sense.NYR NYM NYK UCONN Nebraska AS Roma
