As a BIG fan of TLOU1(love the gameplay), I love the fact that they retain most of it here.

Story wise, I cannot really say yet, I am an hour in. I wanna play few doses a day. So far so good... same dramatic and serious tone as the first.

I dont know how many hours Im in, probably a good 10-12, Im really enjoying the game, the visuals, the dialog, amostphere, story. I chose hard and feel the game has been pretty easy so far, I try to loot almost all the areas and still have limited bullets, but i still get past even if things go guns blazing, I did try to stealth kill my way, but Im enjoying getting into fire fights more. Only died like 3 times so far, I just finished god of war 4 on hard so I was expecting to be restarting figths alot.

The grain did annoyed me but I just got farther back from my 65 oled screen and I dont notice it anymore. sound is pretty amazing on my astro a50s with some preset I found online. I still dont know what controversy people are complaining about online, I dont think I gotten to that part yet besides that part but Ill try to enjoy the game either way just like I am doing so far. Game looks amazing hnng, I played Last of us when it released on PS3 so its been a very long time, the combat hasnt been as exciting as the first one yet, maybe its cause we outgrown that part, as opposed to how ahead it was back in the day.

Yeah those moments are really good and that first first flashback was peak TLOU turned up a notch. Some of the best moments from the game have been those quiet moments when you're exploring and stumble upon something. I'm making sure to explore every single thing. Yeah the new characters aren't all that ... But I like Dinah so far, she's pretty cool and normal, not at all annoying or grating.

Lol, it definitely is a bit of tonal shift from the previous game, I guess the argument can be made that Ellie is now older, not an innocent little girl anymore and these are people that have now gone from surviving day-to-day to finding some normalcy in life in Jackson, and when you find normal, you also find the mundane stuff that comes from it. Hence romance. Also 2 hours in, the game is still quite slow, play a bit more and get to THAT point and then play some more to see if you like it. Once you reach the first "wide-open" area the game picks up considerably.


The set-pieces in this game are so damn fkkn good. So far there's been more set pieces than TLOU 1 or even Uncharted 4 and the ones done here are pretty damn good imo.

Really? I thought they're really responsive, there is a good weight to them, but its responsive ... RDR 2 characters on the other hand, or any rockstar game is far worse. The only issue I have is the crouch speed is too damn fkkn slow ... I think even Joel in TLOU 1 was faster.

Wow .... The amount of people hating on this game not having played it, making up false assumptions and basically pretty much just lying is laughable as fuk. I've just reached the part where you play as Abby, and the whole "tranny" stuff is just overblown, she's clearly a woman ... a fkkin buff one at that lmao, but they kind of explain why she looks the way she is.

Seeing the WLF HQ is insane .... They have a full fkkn set up there, with a gym, tons of meat and farms for dat dere protein, agriculture and what appears to be a much more functioning and more efficient settlement than what Jackson is. I'm loving the fact that ND has expanded on the world building and we're seeing more of how civilization is now adapting to a post-zombie world. You can finally understand now how and why the faction has so many people and resources at their disposal.

If the previous game was like The Road, this feels more like the Walking Dead, though not as bad.

But onto the bad .... I dont like playing as Abby, I get what Druckman is trying to do by showing her side and why she's justified in her cause, and it is justified from her pov. After the stuff Joel pulled, you knew it was gonna come back to haunt him. But I have no interest in playing as her and especially taking part in combat encounters because it feels like padding, but I literally just started playing as her from her "Seattle Day One" so I'm hoping day 2 and day 3 are super lean and just show the important bits.

This thing would have worked perfectly fine in a Netflix show but in a game its a bit annoying.


The best parts of this game is during Ellie's flashbacks with Joel or her moments with Dinah, but they've pretty much sidelined her due to her pregnancy, I think it was far more interesting having her around than it is when Ellie is on her own and Jesse is a pretty one-note character ..... But I hope we can spend more time with Tommy as hes a pretty damn good character as well. Speaks volumes about the chemistry between Joel and Ellie, with each flashback of Joel, the sting of not having him around is harder and as a player, you can feel Ellies loss and the loss of a great character no homo.

I rate The TLOU as a 10/10 ... But 15 hours in and having played a bit of Abby, this feels more like a strong 8, bordering on 9 with some moments, but lets see how Naughty dog sticks the landing with this... I still got 15 fkkn more hours lmao

all i can say is that those leaks definitely made everything seam worse. I was wondering if i should get the game and even spoiled myself to few scenes after the spoilers, but eventually i bought it. I dont regret it. The game is fun to play and thats all that matters right now. The story is ofc not even close to the first one, but playing this on survivor makes the story irrelevant since i focus more on the world, collecting and use of my weapons. At the beginning i did appreciate every little detail, especially when i entered Seattle. So yeah, if you like exploring and you want to play possibly the best looking game than go for it

Still at 8 hours cuz exploring as much as I can. So far, really feels and plays like TLOU1 with some improvements. If you like the first game, you will love this.

What I dislike is that it seems to easy(playing on SURVIVAL). I guess cuz I plat TLOU1 in both PS3 and PS4 and finished the new GROUNDED trophies. So not really challenged in this game. I can easily stealth kill most of the enemies.

Cant say much about the story yet.
