Do you single guys feel like crap when you see a lot of couples around you?

I went out to eat with my single guy friend wartier. Damn saw nothing but couples at The habit burger joint we went to. Nothing against my guy friend but I felt like a total loser dressed up in gym gear (we came back from the gym) And ordering food/eating with a dude on a Saturday night while every man in there had a girl with them.


Felt like total chit as I used to be one of those “cool” guys with a girl. How do you single guys react when you see couples everywhere and you’re either alone or with a guy friend?

I do a little bit. A lot of people recommend hobbies, career and other things to make fullfill your time, but let's be honest, having good relationship and going out getting food, having sex and so on is great . it's not all sunshine and rainbows but nothing really comes close to it. And it's not something you can really buy [well i guess you can but it's not genuine] it's not something you can just work towards (some of us are genetic trash). It sucks. I definitely miss having a girlfriend, or i guess just the comfort of it.

As a guy who was in a relationship for 8.5 years (1.5 of those were married years) I sometimes looked at single guys and thought “damn it’d be nice to be single right now”

Most couples are exterior happiness. Pay close attention to the guy, he’s probably wishing he was single like you.

No. I've got many things going on in my life, and I'm happy and secure with how everything's going. Don't give a fuk what the pissants around me are doing. Literally the most that ever crosses my mind is "damn, that's one lucky dude to be fukking a girl that hot" when I see a dude with a really hot girl, and then I stop caring. If you ever want to be happy in life, I suggest you stop worrying about the people around you and just do you.
