    Tuna everyday bad?

I like to eat the Starkist Tuna pouches, I usually eat 6oz total over the period of 4 days. I’ve read mercury poisoning can happen from too much tuna though, any input?
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

Yes. That being said, you could likely get away with it just 4 days per week. It would most likely take years for that amount to have noticeable health impacts. Still, it’s not necessarily optimal & there so many other great options for protein besides pouched tuna that you’re doing yourself a disservice.

I listened to a lot of Queen and got Mercury poisoning, so make of it what you will.
I have a good joke about water retention. But I'm going to hold onto it for now.

I wouldn't have it more than once a week. Mercury accumulates in the body and isn't that easy to excrete. If you want long term health problems having it daily is a good way to go about it. You could have other fish that is lower in mercury if you really want to, like salmon. I know tuna is yummy but it's not worth the cons that come with consuming it.

I believe empirically it's been found that 2 cans a week is safe. I don't have the citation saved unfortunately, maybe someone else can chime in and post. I hate saying that without being able to cite, but it is what it is.

I love tuna, I would eat 3 cans a day if it wasn't for mercury. Instead I eat zero on a regular basis. To me, it is best to just save it for when you don't really have other options at all and need the convenience. Eating it on a regular basis just because of the ease is not a good trade off to me with so many other options.

Almost 3 cans of "light" tuna a week are safe for a man of 150 lbs according to the FDA, though Consumer Reprts questions this might be a bit too high due to increasing levels of mercury over time: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...n-your-weight/

It's ironic you have Merc in your screen name. But to answer your question....egg whites.

If you don't mind carbs focus on ones that are high in protein like Quinoa.

Best low calorie protein is whey protein. Around 110 calories and 25 grams of protein.
