Trying to get excited, but just feels strange to me. I am hoping that when the season gets closer, I'll be more pumped. I haven't done a single mock or listened to a single FF podcast since our rookie draft in the misc dynasty league.

1st Draft of the Year was done real early, but at least it's out of the way.
10-teams, 0.5 PPR, 6 pts for Passing TDs. Roster is QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/WRT/D/K. It was an auction draft so round/pick is irrelevant.

I did end up swapping out Samuel for Fitzgerald. If he's gonna have a big year its this year with Hopkins in town. RBs were going for crazy dollar amounts in this league.

Decent is the best word for it. I took Brees for the 6 point TDs and me taking ARod was more of a troll job on a GB homer in the league. In 10 games Brees had 27 TDs and 3000 yards. If he goes 4000/40 over 16 games thats worth the $5 price tag IMO. I went for consistency at QB.
RB is weak but having a combo of Ekeler, Ingram, Singletary and Hunt in a 0.5 PPR league seems ok to me. I dont really see Dobbins eating into his workload. Dobbins is just Gus Edwards 2.0 and Ingram still feasted last year. I dont see him keeping his TDs up, but not crazy to think 1200/10 is in store, which is solid RB2 numbers.***Mariah Carey is my 10/10 Crew***

just caught up w/ this thread. agree the energy just isn't there this year. i feel skeptical it happens or that it happens on time.
half my guys in the league are asking if i ordered the draft kit yet; other half haven't even signed into the app on the chat. we do the in-person draft. it's tough to really commit to this year.

Last year I had the easier Fantasy Championship of my life. McCaffrey at #2 overall, Devante Adams in the 2nd Round, Evans in the 3rd Round, Henry in the 4th Round, Lamar in the 8th Round, Justin Tucker in the 13th Round, Pats Defense in the 14th Round, and Mark Andrews in the 15th.
This year I'm throwing all of my chips into Clyde Edwards-Helaire, I think he will be a powerhouse now that Damien Williams opted out.Last edited by JStrez; 08-11-2020 at 07:05 AM.

i could not believe DW opted out. what an opportunity for Clyde. if he's really the 3-down main guy in KC, it's hard not to rank him sky high. i hate hype beasting rookies but it's a dream scenario.
i mean him or chubb? probably Clyde, job is his and better offense. i'd probably take him over mixon and jacobs too. i don't know if i can go as crazy as taking him over king henry or kamara

PM sent for Take My Greens
Maybe I need to do a few mocks to get into the season, but I just am not excited. Maybe after Nov 3 the season will be better and we can have a good finish to the season.
Also, those talking about the KC RB. I'd be excited about him as well. Look at Kareem Hunts production. Dude was killing it his rookie season.New England Patriot

David Johnson, ADP 51. I'm sure Duke will steal of catches, but I think DJ at 51 is a good deal. Prove me wrong.
Sutton about to have a big season.
TY Hilton about to be a stud with an ADP of 64.
Devin Singletary ADP of 66. Hnnngggg.
Edelman getting no respect. Cam will get him the ball. Easy WR2/FLEX.
Kenyon Drake ADP too high cause Edmonds will eat into his workload. Edmonds is better than most realize.New England Patriot
