AMA
Hey guys(M), just so you know, I'm 7'15(M)and I bench press 2 million pounds. I know this has literally nothing to do with the story but this is entitledparents so I have to humblebrag about how tall and buff I am.
So I was driving in my flying Ferrari(F2) to the mall. As soon as I got there, I saw EP (entiled parent 46M) and ED (entilted daughter) that looked about 16.
ED: Mom, that guys really hot can(24M) I date him.
They were both looking at me and EP aprroched me.
EP: Hey big boy, wanna date my daughter
Me: Sorry, I have a supermodel girlfriend(26M) with really really big tits and a 700 inch ass.
I expect this though because I have been asked out by over 1 billion women(F) and have turned down Playgirl and ******** over 300,000 times because my penis is 100 inches.
ED: MOOOOOOOM! MAKE HIM MY BF!!!!
Me: Sorry, I have to go to Hot Topic to buy an MCR shirt.
Em: MCR SUCKS!!!!!1111
I'm a black belt in every martial art ever so I kicked that bitch so hard she exploded and everyone nearby fell to the floor either laughing crying or cumming
Then I got arrested for murder but I escaped
prison(65M) and I'm posting this in Belize. Bye!!!!!!► Intermediate Bodybuilding Classic Physique ► Renaissance Periodization Programming

I was building on thread momentum in the vein of "See anyone can make bold claims on the internet". While I don't frequent Misc, my post probably belonged there instead of this subforum. That's my bad if I misread the mood of the thread being incredulous and lighthearted reactions to bold claims from dubious sources.
*edit*
Yeah I reread the thread and that was the mood. The joke probably just didn't land with you.Last edited by Camarija; 06-05-2020 at 07:40 PM.

All about the diet, your genetic set point, and physique goals. 10% year around natty with good muscle for sure takes some effort for most.. myself included lol

I gotta say - while I get (and agree) with the whole no pic, red rep, etc. thing, and it biases my view...
... the OP is actually fairly calm in his responses here to the pushback that he’s getting, and he’s not said anything crazy like “you can only get lean with keto” or “you need to have a dedicated biceps day 3 times per week”. Personally, I’m inclined to think he means well.
But I still wouldn’t recommend that anyone take advice from an anonymous poster with no pictures, no history, and no reason to believe he knows more more about anything than the next random guy on the Internet. There’s a lot of good info on these forums, and I’d strongly recommend to people to read the stickies in the nutrition and workout program forums. That will cover 90% of beginner questions anyway.
OP - assuming you mean well, best of luck.My home gym: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175136471&p=1623181551&viewfull=1#post1623181551

Tommy, I honestly don't feel the need for your approval, and even if I did, there'd always be something.
I've checked your posts and there's nothing but negativity and ego, no useful advice or support.
I quit being that person a long time ago, and it blows my mind you still are at your age.
Part of having that physique is learning how to keep your ego in check.

They did say that if the Misc was closed down, they would invade that fat loss forum. Perhaps this is the start lol

Show a pic of your body and let me be the judge of your sub 10 percent physique, or if you're living in Na Na land.
Not saying you aren't and there are exceptions.
As a natty however the No 1 rule is, you can't stay lean all year around.
Simple as that - not possible.
I can point out fake Natties based on look alone if I know their shape 365 days a year.
Even smaller guys at 170-200lbs can't maintain that.
Much less 225lbs +
There might be a chance some lunatic boxer who does 4h of cardio in the welterweight division might stay at a super low BF% but he would only be 150lbs.
The all mighty key word is : Carb-Cycling
It's the answer to everything trust me. General knowledge gotta be aquired over the years though.
Experience is key.
Therefore my take
A BF% of 7-8% as a natty can be maintained for 1-2 weekends in 1 year (without taxing your life and especially performance)
It's mostly achieved by prime athletes in combat sports that have a "peak day" to work towards the whole year.
Sex is something that falls completely flat at those levels. You'll feel like ****. Can't sleep right, ass hurts badly from sitting (no fat lol) your reflexes and power are on another level. It feels like turning SSJ when you do it for the first time.
Everyone should do a diet to reach those levels at least once in your lifetime.
Ps : It's known to rewire your brain (obese guys have never had the urge again for a Snickers)
Smokers have quit without even looking back.
It's self self therapy. The ultimate will test.

What do you mean "natty's can't stay lean year-round"??? That's simply not true!! Maybe genetics does play a much bigger role than some people realize or understand. Genetics and hard work. It's very simple. And I'm not referring to strict dieting, counting calories or calculating bf% as the way to achieve it.
I'm not debating anyone- just correcting one statement.Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.
Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

Gotta disappoint you, there's no prize for winning this debate, so I don't know how else to make you happy if my advice isn't good enough.
That pic isn't representative though, it's just recent, that's why I used it. It's taken after 3 months with no access to a proper gym, with just a pull-up bar, 2x 20kg dumbbells, and a dip belt available.

Maybe I did it completely wrong, but I was the farthest from my ideal physique when carb-cycling.
As far as resetting my body and mind, intermittent fasting was a big one for me.
No empty calories was another one I learned the hard way.
As far as optimal fat %, I think different people experience a strength and energy level cutoff at different %,
but I think most would be surprised how lean they can get before it gets really uncomfortable.
To me personally it was a big revelation, although admittedly I had to sacrifice a few kg off my max lifts.
And your program has to be optimised too. Many lifters associate cutting with cardio, which is wrong.
Unless you really know what you're doing, doing cardio will help you burn more muscle than fat.
Explosive lifts (snatch, clean, thrusters etc.) and HIIT (rowing, ski machine, assault bike etc.) is where it's at.
