    diy stone mold

I am going to make my own mold using a rubber ball and wrapping fiberglass around it. I have seen videos where people set the mold in a bucket or on a tire and the mold collapsed a bit and deformed it. I have also seen videos where people partially bury the mold in the ground to support it, but they get more air bubbles (since they can't vibrate the mold as well) and get a rougher texture, including one video where the guy got a crack (he used a paper and glue though):

Just wondering if anyone here has any thoughts?

spend the money on the real molds. It is worth avoiding the headaches. Also, make extra stones and sell them on Facebook to offset the cost
