It is very interesting that the only company I've dealt with didn't act like they were gonna get executed for not masking was a small family business. It seems China secretly owns many big businesses here.

Stating the obvious but if you can make do with short-all-over, then a pair of rechargeable hair clippers (or like me couldn't get them but could get a rechargeable beard clipper with length adjustment) can work fine to do your own hair. Can't do advanced styles that way, as the back of the head is hard to do on yourself... unless you want to just leave the back and become Mullet Man

That's the best argument I've heard to get a barber to cut hair rather than go DIY. After reading that I'm in 2 minds if I should feel proud of my home hair cut, or feel guilty for encouraging it

I am not afraid of going to a barber for own safety, what concerns me is, if I do catch it and then pass it along to others like 94 that lives with me. With this virus not being detected for days, I think barbers, hair and nail salons etc.. are prime vehicles for the transmission of this virus.

I had to get a haircut weekly or every 10 days for near a quarter of a century, I am perfectly ok with going scruffy for a bit.

It's not happening though, mask is under your chin until some prick from corporate or OSHA shows up then it gets pulled up until they leave.

I'm supposed to wear a mask for a haircut tomorrow. I already get anxiety from the apron around my neck as it is and have only worn a bandanna. I'm gonna be straight up with the guy that if I gotta wear a mask for an entire haircut there's a chance I'll just jump up and run out. Gonna take my medical exemption on this one, I'm in my 50's and have never pulled that card but I need a fuking haircut.

Bro, have your wife cut your hair. My wife has done mine twice now and shes damn good. So good I'll likely just have her continue it. Shes had tons of practice this past year w/my moms dog we took in (Cavapoo)

My doggy got a haircut yesterday, too. It didn't cost any extra, but I had booked the beginning of February to have him groomed the the middle of March. The groomer gave previous reservations precedence. Currently, her two shops and 8 employees are backed up until mid November.

Since restaurants have reopened, my wife and I have been tipping 50-100% and the servers are flabbergasted. Many of them even ask if we're sure. It feels good.
