Rosenstein got the kid glove treatment. Pretty sad to listen to the questions. Nobody pressed any legit lines of questioning.

The first time Rosenstein had contact with mueller? A few hours after Comey's firing. They had firewalls in place, and plans in case those firewalls no longer were there to protect their actions. Comey was a firewall, and with him removed, it instantly set the ball in motion. Rosenstein communicated with Mueller some 12 or more times before his public appointment. He should have been pressed about this.

He should have been pressed more about his signing illegal FISA warrants.

He should have been pressed about his scope memos. These targeted trump team members that had already been cleared. When he was asked what specific facts he had or were unresolved that warranted their inclusion in the scope memo... he had no answer. That should have been pounded over and over. They had NOTHING.

They should have probed him more on his claim that mueller was appointed to investigate Russian interference. Once it became known that the dossier was paid for Russian disinformation, Rosenstein should have written a scope memo to target steele, fusion, and Clinton members involved in it's creation. Ironically, when clear Russian disinformation presented itself... mueller and Rosenstein didn't care? But it wasn't about getting trump? lol... ok.

He should have been questioned more about what happened when they learned about the bias within the team. Why didn't they stop and review all actions taken by those members? Hell, strzok wrote and opened the investigation all on his own. He interviewed Flynn. He manipulated the 302 with page to make it look like he lied. the list goes on and on... but they did none of it. Instead, Mueller's team had strzok and page's phones wiped so that none of their texts from their time on Mueller's team would be available for review...

There are countless other legit lines of questioning, but they avoided all of it. For some reason, they protected Rosenstein. The senate is useless when it comes to these hearings. Random people on the internet could do a better job.

Is it a coincidence that the investigation magically concluded as soon as Rosenstein was removed?

Is it a coincidence that Rosenstein told trump in 2018 before midterms that declassifying the requested documents would interfere with the mueller investigation and would be considered obstruction of justice? What have we since learned from those declassified documents... oh ya, the truth about the scam. The obstruction case was the perfect cover to ensure that nothing would ever get the sunlight it needed to reveal the truth.

Again, the senators did a horrible job of even scratching the surface of rosensteins criminality.

On one hand, I would hope this means Rosenstein is cooperative with durham and this is all just a show. On the other, it almost assuredly means that Rosenstein is safe and that everyone will just do the old "not my fault, look at them!" until it's all just swept under the rug.

Rosenstein has a longstanding history of shady business well before his role in spygate. And he has longstanding ties to mueller et. al.

Rosenstein was specifically named in the most recent filing of sharyl Atkinson, a reporter who was illegally spied on because she was putting out reports contrary to what Obama wanted reported.

Then look at Rosenstein's involvement in the wolfe FISA leak. Remember, Wolfe leaked the entirely unredacted FISA to the media. The media had the garbage for years, the same document politicians were saying would compromise sources and methods... any amount of investigative journalism would have proven it to be junk and the media could have blown the lid on the whole case. Instead, the media reported on things within that were known to be false.

Rosenstein and Jesse Liu buried the wolfe case, because it involved a larger-scale operation to undermine the trump admin within the senate and SSCI. When Wolfe was about to go to court, he named all the senators in the SSCI as witnesses. They all wrote him glowing letters of recommendation, and boom! He got his case downgraded to a single count of lying to the FBI. CTH and others put the pieces together months before that he had leaked the FISA, and once the charge was filed, a disgusted FBI agent wrote in the final document that wolfe had leaked the carter page FISA. Rosenstein was directly involved in both cover up, as well as the coup.

Think about it, sessions was forced to recuse and was blasted by the media because he maybe talked to a Russian once... but Rosenstein, the guy who signed the FISA warrants, the guy who penned the letter that led to comey's firing making him both a material witness and possible co-conspirator in the obstruction investigation... was protected by democrats and the media and not forced to recuse... A little common sense will tell you why. This isn't hard. The dots are easy to connect to anyone willing to look.

Of course Rosenstein was going to minimize his own responsibility and not commit to saying that others committed crimes. He faces a lot of liability in all of this... he ran the show.

They could have probed any of the lines of questioning that I mentioned above... and they avoided all of them. They had no intention of holding his hand to the fire. It was a fireside chat with their buddy.

I think it was alot of people's plan to get a special counsel from the day Trump was elected. I don't think it was Rod's plan, however. I think Rod is a self preserving weasel, not a bad guy or someone with a nefarious plan. I think its as simple as this. Rod wrote the memo justifying the firing of James Comey, thinking that was the thing to do at the time. Then when he caught hellfire from the left, the establishment and Never Trumpers all at the same time...he brought in Mueller to give himself some cover.

This is off topic but what are the odds that Rod Rosenstein's sister (Dr. Nancy Messonnier) is the director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention?

Coronavirus shutdowns, riots, and the investigation. Right before the election. Impeccable timing I must say

    I. Summary of Major Findings
    https://www.justsecurity.org/63838/g...-on-collusion/

The redacted Mueller Report documents a series of activities that show strong evidence of collusion. Or, more precisely, it provides significant evidence that Trump Campaign associates coordinated with, cooperated with, encouraged, or gave support to the Russia/WikiLeaks election interference activities. The Report documents the following actions (each of which is analyzed in detail in Part II):

    1. Trump was receptive to a Campaign national security adviser’s (George Papadopoulos) pursuit of a back channel to Putin.

    2. Kremlin operatives provided the Campaign a preview of the Russian plan to distribute stolen emails.

    3. The Trump Campaign chairman and deputy chairman (Paul Manafort and Rick Gates) knowingly shared internal polling data and information on battleground states with a Russian spy; and the Campaign chairman worked with the Russian spy on a pro-Russia “peace” plan for Ukraine.

    4. The Trump Campaign chairman periodically shared internal polling data with the Russian spy with the expectation it would be shared with Putin-linked oligarch, Oleg Deripaska.

    5. Trump Campaign chairman Manafort expected Trump’s winning the presidency would mean Deripaska would want to use Manafort to advance Deripaska’s interests in the United States and elsewhere.

    6. Trump Tower meeting: (1) On receiving an email offering derogatory information on Clinton coming from a Russian government official, Donald Trump Jr. “appears to have accepted that offer;” (2) members of the Campaign discussed the Trump Tower meeting beforehand; (3) Donald Trump Jr. told the Russians during the meeting that Trump could revisit the issue of the Magnitsky Act if elected.

    7. A Trump Campaign official told the Special Counsel he “felt obliged to object” to a GOP Platform change on Ukraine because it contradicted Trump’s wishes; however, the investigation did not establish that Gordon was directed by Trump.

    8. Russian military hackers may have followed Trump’s July 27, 2016 public statement “Russia if you’re listening …” within hours by targeting Clinton’s personal office for the first time.

    9. Trump requested campaign affiliates to get Clinton’s emails, which resulted in an individual apparently acting in coordination with the Campaign claiming to have successfully contacted Russian hackers.

    10. The Trump Campaign—and Trump personally—appeared to have advanced knowledge of future WikiLeaks releases.

    11. The Trump Campaign coordinated campaign-related public communications based on future WikiLeaks releases.

    12. Michael Cohen, on behalf of the Trump Organization, brokered a secret deal for a Trump Tower Moscow project directly involving Putin’s inner circle, at least until June 2016.

    13. During the presidential transition, Jared Kushner and Eric Prince engaged in secret back channel communications with Russian agents. (1) Kushner suggested to the Russian Ambassador that they use a secure communication line from within the Russian Embassy to speak with Russian Generals; and (2) Prince and Kushner’s friend Rick Gerson conducted secret back channel meetings with a Putin agent to develop a plan for U.S.-Russian relations.

    14. During the presidential transition, in coordination with other members of the Transition Team, Michael Flynn spoke with the Russian Ambassador to prevent a tit for tat Russian response to the Obama administration’s imposition of sanctions for election interference; the Russians agreed not to retaliate saying they wanted a good relationship with the incoming administration.

    ...

    Also:

As many experts have noted, what’s missing from the Mueller Report is the Special Counsel’s counterintelligence findings. We don’t know what the Special Counsel’s Office or the FBI have assessed, for example, with respect to whether Trump associates engaged in reciprocal efforts with Russian agents without entering a criminal agreement to do so, whether Americans have been witting or unwitting Russian assets, and what leverage or influence Moscow may have over particular individuals.

Well yeah, no ****. But don't try and deny just how many pieces had to fall into place for the Democrats to have a chance at winning the election and how closely connected each of the pieces actually are.

2-3 major once in a lifetime events that just happened to come about almost concurrently are connected by blood brother and sister practically at the top of both events. Sure, it could be a coincidence. Let's chalk it up to dumb luck for the Democrats. They needed an economic collapse for the middle and lower class, mass unemployment, and nationwide rioting and looting to "possibly" win the election and they got it. It also just happened to overlap the investigations into an attempted coup of the POTUS who is up for re-election. Democrats have shown they aren't above this kind of behavior, and the people who are being investigated are all members of the intelligence community with deep ties to the establishment. The CIA is involved, they literally leaked a phone call of Trump justifiably asking for information regarding crowdstrike and Biden's QPQ and his sons involvement. It's easy to see who's actually stirring all of this **** up. This is almost a play by play of what they do to foreign countries and governments they want to depose under the guise of freedom.

This is hardly CT at this point. We know the FBI tried to sabotage him (campaign spying and investigations), we know the CIA tried to sabotage him (impeachment), we know Obama/Hillary & co are involved. This seems like a well written book by Tom Clancy with a farfetched plot, but it's reality. Not to mention every other **** stirring country and power that's involved for their own benefit (China, Russia, EU, Oligarchs, major trillion/multi-billion dollar companies). The psyops both foreign and domestic has reached the pinnacle. Democrats and co are attempting turn this country into a 1 party state and further the divide.

Trump labels ANTIFA as a terrorist organization. And the Democrats are now throwing claims around that protestors arrested by NYPD are being pulled aside by FBI at precincts & asked about anti-fascist sentiments or connections to antifa. And the below average IQs are eating it up. One giant cluster****

Who's getting indicted first? I mean y'all know for sure that crimes were committed, so when do the indictments drop? Surely Trump's personal lawyer Barr is itching to put some lefties on trial for daring to question his master.

I mean Rampage told me that the McCabe indictment would be the first of many shoes to drop and since that one there's been...oh yea, the Grand Jury laughed the DOJ out of the building with that one.

    lmfao

In 7 months president Biden will sort all this out for y'all.

I never said McCabe would be first. The investigation into McCabe was unrelated to spygate. It was just him lying repeatedly to investigators, including under oath. It was an open and shut case. The lies were material to, and hindered, the investigation.

Compare that to Flynn, who they had no lawful reason to interview, who never lied to investigators, had his 302 edited to make it seem like he lied, and then was drained of his life savings and had his family attacked until they forced a plea.

    Strong justice system.

I think McCabe holds far greater liability within spygate.

When Barr and Durham bring charges, they will be home runs. Apparently the egregious lying would seem petty in comparison.

Then again, they could just cover it all up. I think we are too far into this to have that be the outcome... but time will tell.

If what McCabe did was so egregious, why did the grand jury laugh it out of the building?

And Barr and Durham are bringing charges? Timetable on this? You've been spouting bs about pending charges stemming from the investigations into Trump's attempted collusion for 2 years now. What do you have to show for it?
