    Deadlift PR

I had form issues in the past that I have been working on vigilantly. My hips always came up way early and my lift would start with my shoulders almost below my hips (think stiff legged deadlift). Although still not perfect it has allowed me to progress and be more comfortable. Well tonight dead’s weren’t in the plan but I decided to throw them in just for an excuse to max out. After 3 working sets with 315 I threw 455 on the bar. My hips came up a tad early but not nearly as high or as early as with my previous form issues. This pull was 40 pounds over my previous max a year ago and with much better form. Really happy with this one.

    Keep going....

    Big 3
    Bench - 265
    Squat - 260
    Dead - 415

Looked good to me, nice lift. It's definitely fun to take advantage of those times where you're just feeling it and deviate from the plan a bit and go for something. Enjoy the new PR feeling!

while many of us (unfortunately me included) are grumbling, and struggling on without gym (or gym equipment) --> You're out there training hard and setting a PR. Much respect! Rep+1
Faith in Jesus first and faith in squats second.
Then other details will start to slot themselves into place.

Keep your squats low and standards high.
