Also, the Supreme Court case was in relation to officers responding to civilians in need of help.

It does not apply to people who are in custody

Oh yes absolutely I was not disputing that. Once the suspect is in an officers custody they are entirely responsible.

The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that the government has only a duty to protect persons who are “in custody,” he pointed out. ... In the cases DeShaney vs. Winnebago and Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales, the supreme court has ruled that police agencies are not obligated to provide protection of citizens.

EDIT: The problem is most private citizens are not educated enough on basic police citizen contact and are grossly misled by media to believe what they can and can’t do in regards to their contact with Law Enforcement.

Everyone says “protect and serve” when in actuality that’s not really a thing y’know. Police are not bend over backwards servants at the beck and call of the citizenry. They enforce the law as impartial as possible with the facts and circumstances before them. And people let their emotions run wild when they’re not satisfied with the outcome of a given situation

Especially on the carotid artery which is where his knee was. I wonder if that still counts as strangulation or something else?

The medical examiner that did autopsy is basically friends with the cops.
The people of Minnesota and Floyd's family dont trust Hennepin County attorney Mike Freeman. And they dont trust the medical examiner.
They want an independent medical examiner to do an autopsy.
They also want the case transferred to the State and to Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who is trusted and has ties to he black community

THERE ARE ZERO QUALIFIED TO BECOME CORONER.

it is an elected position that can be filled by highschool dropouts. 100% are.

FBI will do their own autopsy and so will the family. This was a strictly propaganda release.

Certainly changes the murder charge. Rioters won’t enjoy that.

Amazed they don't want the family lawyer to do the autopsy. Why do they keep bringing the geriatric Baden back to do them? Pity Quincy died-he always found some cover-up.
And that's the bottom line, cause Jimbob said so.
