Repped you to counter Tammy's neg. Tammy throws out negs like candy to anyone that calls him out. Tammy is a bot that whose sole purpose every day is to get up, log in and copy/paste propaganda about a country he doesn't even live in and stir the pot. It's his joir de vivre. I simply can't imagine having nothing better to do in life than this. It's truly pathetic, and on some level one has to pity him. I hope that he at least gets paid for these efforts; however, when Tammy is old and alone, will he look back and feel it was a worthwhile endeavor.
The epitome of mental illness.

Not everything is a race issue.
Clearly you are implying that he was arrested BECAUSE he was black. As it stands, I see 0 evidence of that. I would also ask you how this was possible since the police force has been run by a leftwing city gov't for decades, since only right wingers are the racist ones.***Alabama Crimson Tide***

And how does arresting a reporter stop that? He calmly and repeatedly asked the troopers where the crew could move to and appeared to get no response. As the camera pans it looks like troopers were in every direction. As he started reporting again they put him under arrest. The way it appeared on tv is the exact issue citizens have with police. They aren’t protecting and serving their citizens. They are authoritative figures that treat citizens like garbage. Zero respect. Throw in racial bias as the cherry on top.

I have no doubt there's good cops out there. But there's way too many bad ones and the good ones don't do **** to stop it. Actual trash.

A lot of conjecture and jumping to conclusions in order to push your narrative that all cops are racist
Gee who does that remind me of?
You might even be right and I'd admit it. There is a big problem with the training/selection of police officers, my personal opinion, based on pure stats, is that this is a general police issue not a racism issue
Just stfu and wait for the full story to come out before you embarass yourself

I do not believe all cops are racist and I don’t believe all cops are bad. I’ve said as much many times the past few days.
I’m saying that is what appears to have happened on tv and was about the worst possible thing that lieutenant could have done given the circumstances outside of shooting the reporter. The appearance on tv is that the reporter acted calm and professional and the heavily armed troopers in riot gear acted like thugs. Even if the facts are different that’s how it plays out on tv and that’s the narrative that’s going to be pushed. These people are idiots.

Here is a take on this -- the cops later apologized and were 'only following orders'.
I hate CNN but this is out of control, people should at best end up fired over this - and not just the guys 'following orders' but those who gave these orders to do this bullchit. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I get real tired of posting about the reality of every situation here but whatever.
Doesn't matter if you hate CNN, hate Cops, or whatever side you're on. It doesn't matter if you think this was staged or not either. The real issue here is the already bad optics that the police have on them is not going to improve after arresting a reporter on live TV with no warning. The reporter and producer handled this perfectly "We were told to stand here" "Where would you like us to move to" "We will go wherever you want us to go" "We are with CNN broadcasting a live story right now" Cops fuking arrest them. Terrible optics for the police, and will lead to a worse situation overall. If that is what the police want, then good move I guess, if they want a de-escalation then they fuked up.*Updated* If you can't hit a 320 yard drive, are you even a man?

I'm pretty sure that when police are called in to stop a riot, they are trying to gain control of selected areas. I'm sure that was a large factor in this incident. That being said, I don't condone them arresting the guy, based on what I know right now. It was apparently a misunderstanding and he was promptly released. I don't see the need to turn this into a racial issue.
