    I did bicycle crunches for attaining good body shape. I have not abs yet, but i believe that doing workout continuously will help me much in gaining them.

    you don't really "gain abs" as much as you remove belly fat to let your abs show. To do that, eat less, lower body fat. To help loose weight and fat, work out in addition to diet. Or just call your belly fat "ab protectors" and don't worry about it.
