    What do I do in the meantime???

    I can eat in a deficit and I might even be able to exercise on a regular basis but I can’t stretch my mind around what I do in the meantime.

    I’ve had it to where I obsess over the weight loss and I always end up burning out but I know that’s because of my lifestyle.

    Everything I do in my off time is to escape. I binge tv. I binge talk on the phone. I day dream. And I eat. All of these things work together to get me to my next moment.

    I can fast and I can control my calories but I always fall back into the habit because my lifestyle doesn’t support those things. I feel like I need a community or something.

    I think I really hate my life and that doesn’t help either. I just need something to hold on to while I release the things I don’t like about myself. I’m afraid

    I'm not sure what your question is, but you don't need to do extremes, like fast. For starting, just eat less and move more. Eat more 'whole' foods and less processed stuff like chips and crackers.

    I'm not qualified nor claim to be, but from personal past experience, you may need to seek other things to incorporate into your life other than the goal of fitness to give you more of a "purpose". I used to struggle with that and felt the same way you do. Solely focusing on that and using useless and empty activities in between that didn't benefit me or I didn't really ever enjoy doing. Kind of like "filler" activity to consume your time during the day.

    But, as mentioned, you may need to speak to someone. No shame in it ever.
    Life is constant learning. Give advice about things you know. Ask questions about things you don't.

    Building a good lifestyle takes time. Starting a good routine is easy but making it lifestyle is not much easy. So i think you should continue to follow good routine unless it become your habit and your lifestyle.
