Hey all,
I’ve been a passholder at Disneyland for years and years. So naturally have become accustomed to Disneyland’s churros which are hands down the best quick serve churros out there. I’ll usually get one or 2 during a trip or go for the special flavors they have on holidays etc. However, last time I went was in February to go on the new Star Wars ride, and the park closed down right before my next scheduled trip. I’ve been trying to find another decent churro since then and was wondering if anyone had any go to churro spots? I tried the cheap ones at Costco and they are pretty ho-hum. Too caky and heavy. I got a couple at Rubios. One was pretty good, next time I went it was kind of stale and had way too much cinnamon/sugar. Any other recommendations? Willing to drive anywhere in SoCal for really good ones. TIA

Del Taco has some decent churros. It's a 50/50 shot whether you get enough cinnamon/sugar, but of all the "low tier" places I've tried they're actually pretty ok. They've switched from one big churro to 2 half sized, IMO there's better cinnamon/sugar coverage now.
Also, there's a place called Churroholic down in Anaheim, 2-3 locations I've seen. Honestly, I wasn't wowed, but if you're a churro nut maybe give em a shot. They do churros in all sorts of things, chocolate dipped, in ice cream, etc.
I was gonna recommend check out the swap meets lol-whoops. I don't even know if they're running with this virus. Fukking Corona I swear...Virtue is its own reward.

Cool thanks, can’t remember the last time I have eaten at Del Taco but will give them a try. There is one not far from work but I haven’t been to work in months! Yeah swap meet always has good nachos and churros too but haven’t been for a while.
Also there is a “farmers market” type of thing that I sometimes go to that has a sketchy cart with pretty good churros but ripoff cause pf farmers market prices, guy wants almost $6 lol! More than disneyland2 time survivor of The Great Misc Outages of 2022

Compared to Los Angeles, it’s very chill
Dunno about the rent comparison though but it is Socal
I find it too chill for me, I guess growing up in NYC and LA its hard to live somewhere that’s not huge but I expect that to change when older
Really
Who’d have thought?
