I like the JRE, he's the best at what he does, but how will they recoup 100M let alone make profit on top. Would the extra foot-fall on Spotify be worth that. Really? Or is it a 100M "insurance policy" that Spotify stays relevant and used rather than users going elsewhere?

Joe Rogan is the real deal, he worked his ass off to get to this point. I think it's just great.

I watch clips of his podcast on ******** and follow him on social media but never actually listen to the podcast. His stand up specials are very funny. $100 million is a lot, good for him. He can afford to go on a lot of elk hunts now.

Good for him. In the last couple years I started reading the books of the guests he has on. So much good information that has done nothing but improve my life.
I imagine he doesn't even need the money at this point, so I'm actually kind of surprised, perhaps he sees potential I don't know about yet by going to Spotify, either way I'm excited.★★★ A State of Trance Crew ★★★

It's either his strength or his weakness depending how you view it. Joe Rogan lets his guests go in whatever direction they want, for however long they want, he makes them feel completely at ease, he generally doesn't correct or filter what they say and goes with it.
