Ive been eating 1500 calories a day to lose weight for a while now. But someone told me its unhealthy to eat this low specially for my weight 313 lbs (used to be 440 lbs) and that ill always be hungry. Calorie calculator says I should eat 2500 calories a day but im scared I wont lose weight considering its way higher than what im used to.
Here is my information:
Age:31
Sex: Male
Weight: 313 lbs
Height: 5'11
Exercise: 40-60 minutes indoor bike daily

That is quite low. But actually, when you are fatter, you can run a larger deficit and get away without ill health effects. The health benefits of losing weight quickly might well outweigh the risks associated with fast weight loss.
The rule of thumb is don't try to lose more than 1% per week - for you this is 3lbs so perhaps it's not unreasonable.
just make sure you get enough protein and fruit and veg - and don't entirely avoid "good" fats either. Oily fish is a good one. Or avocado, nuts etc.
