    Rebuilt3’s bumpy road log

    Starting my new thread today, gonna attempt to cut down. Last time I tried I noticed my weight fluctuating and it was throwing me off. Currently I have a new weigh scale.

    Right now with my home workouts I’m gonna focus on body weight strength training and conditioning drills, plus lots of outdoor walks.

    Day 1 : may 17th, 2020
    Starting weight 244 lbs
    Calorie goal: 2 lbs a week loss / 2000 calories per day.

    Will update this thread once a week or more If needed. Hopefully I can correct bad habits ( binge eating, drinking )

    May 22, 241 lbs
    -3 lbs however could be some water weight.

    For short term , I’m trying to get to 230 lbs then eventually down to 200. Once at 200 I’m going to try maintaining for a few months,

    May 30th, todays weigh in 238.5 lbs. I’ve seemed to have lost some more weight, time to tighten the diet up more.
    Had a good day yesterday but over ate some bbq foods. At least I never bought beers.
    This weeks goal to hit 238 or 237.
    Adjusted my calories from 1.5 lbs a week to 2 lbs.

    Well despite eating poorly yesterday, I am weighing in at 238 lbs this morning. Was expecting to see the scale higher today but it was lower.
    Time to try staying on track this week

    Don't be surprised if it bumps back up, but if it stays down then great! I can adjust by .5kg/1lb on a daily basis, but the average is always down.

    Thanks mate, same to you keep going. Slow and steady wins the race. I’m happy at 1 lb a week, 2 lbs is ideal but I’ll take whatever gets me closer to the goal of 200 lbs again. Cheers

    Mid week weigh in this morning. 235 lbs! Despite have a couple beers ( did it within my calorie budget ). Time to adjust the goal to 230 lbs!
    244-235 so about 9 lbs lost since this thread. See you guys again soon

    Just wondering what kind of height you were?

    I notice sometimes if my diet has been strict and i have a couple of alcoholic drinks it actually results in loss of lingering water weight rather than bloat (perhaps due to minor dehydration?). Either way glad you're fitting a couple of nice things within your daily limits.

    Also voting for the odd workout overview. Am always interested in hearing tips for home workouts, especially at the moment
