Their heart rate is 140 to 170 bpm for 3 hours straight? Is that even possible? Mad respect if so and I have a lot of work to do...

I tell it like it is, if you want smoke blown up your ass or something sugar coated. I suggest you get a Hooker and a powdered donut.

A youngish person running a 3 hour marathon is going to have their heartrate ~170-190. I'm slow, old, and a zombie and I'm in the 140s for a 5 hour marathon.
Most runners train too hard on easy days and are doing too much training at 160-180. At my age, I should keep it about 130 or less for long easy runs and do some 20-60 minute runs in the 140s to 150s once or twice a week. A 30 year old guy should do easy runs at 150 to 160.
140-170 sounds about right for a young guy working sorta hard but not all out, but I am surprised that driving is that physically hard.

G force probably, I been in the back of jets, pretty much just sat there all strapped in, but my adrenalin was pumping, soaked in sweat and with the g force, afterwards felt like I had just gone ten rounds with the Rock. Nascar would only pull about 3 g but that's like a 175 lb man feel like close on 500 on the turns. That's physically demanding.

High blood pressure genetic crew.
It was probably 10 years ago doing 8:30-8:45 miles with a sprint at the end. The highest i saw was 195 at the end of a sprint.
Lower numbers can be achieved using meds, great genetics and weight loss.
Now when i see low numbers i am like wtf is wrong with me, lol
I also knew about the family history related to heart issues, so i have been a huge cardio fan knowing what was potentially coming. Training at the upper end i think has helped me.Last edited by x-trainer ben; 05-17-2020 at 02:27 PM.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!
