Hi everyone! I’m a a 5’8 female currently sitting at 130-131lbs. I have been lifting for about 5 months now and have increased my weight from 120-130 from doing heavy lifts. I am really stuck on having a nice defined 6 pack. Now i’m on the thin range for my height, and kinda have some ab definition, but i wanna get that well defined chiseled ab look. I have some belly fat and don’t know my bodyfat (guesstimate 19-21%?). I was wondering if I should just go on a short mini cut for about 4-6 weeks to shed down some of that stomach fat or should I just continue to eat at maintenance since i’m already fairly lean and just keep up with the ab workouts every other day.

If you’re gaining weight you’re in a surplus. If you want to be more defined you need to cut calories however if your abs aren’t developed enough there’s a good chance that just losing a few lbs won’t really help.
Without a pic it’s pretty much impossible to give a solid answerIf you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough

Doing abs every other day will not give you defined abs.
Follow a proven strength training program and if you must have defined abs: eat a slight calorie deficit.Recommended science based fitness & nutrition information:
