I'm 5'11 220 ( fatboi )
Took 2 capsules of maeng da and i felt that very subtle feeling your talking about. Never got it again.
Took 8 capsules at once on my 3rd try. NADA. Nothing.
What this thread proves is that everybody reacts differently to kratom. I feel nothing and I have absolutely no addiction to it.
I had 60 capsules remaining and I took four almost everyday until they ran out. I literally never felt anything other than that very first time I tried 2 capsules.
I've decided not to waste my money as i've concluded that it does nothing for me. No addiction either. I think there's some placebo effect going on with kratom.
Also to all the dudes who are foaming at the mouth in this thread "OMFG STOP TAKING THAT YOUR GONNA DIE".. Please relax and STFU.

I’ll say this. I used to abuse alcohol hard. I’ve been sober for almost 2 years. About a month ago I tried kratom(red) to wind down at night after work so I didn’t get a desire for a beer. I didn’t need it, but I also don’t feel like I’m fighting cravings after stressful days anymore and it is a nice way to relax.
I’ve not tried any other strain so I can’t speak for that. I also don’t feel cravings waiting between shipments when I run out. I can’t smoke weed because I am in law school and until school starts again I’m driving as a part time job, so any accident I’ll need to take a drug test whether my fault or not. I think kratom is a great thing for those who want to feel good in a safe wayProof Angels exist: OzleyASMR

ADD: Probably (Go for white AKA more stimulating strain)
ADHD: Same
SA: Absolutely, 100%, will help.
I don't have ADD/ADHD so can't truly comment on that but for SA it absolutely helps. And in my experience, it helped me even after discontinuation. Use it to teach you that interaction and being a social butterfly is a good and positive thing and not a crutch, and I think it's an awesome tool.
Edit: Also tried piracetam and it helped me but felt a little "stupid" on it. Kratom shouldn't make you feel that way. And to answer your Q about the military earlier, pretty sure it's on the "No-No" list but they will never know via drug test so take that for what it's worth.

I have it super bad. I've never been diagnosed, but I find myself doing something and then something else perks my interest and then I stop doing what I was doing. I'm not dumb, it's just extremely hard to focus hence why college is difficult in general. Really don't want to get on Ritalin or some chit either. And I can talk to people it's more of the initial engagement I need help with.
It's on the OPSS which are prohibited supplements for the military, which I don't think any of them would pop hot anyways. My concern would be it giving a false positive like DMAA did with amphetamines. From what I've been reading, none generates a false positive. Hell it even says on the website that it won't pop positive, but still prohibited. They probably don't even know what Kratom is.I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

So buy your own at home drug test kit then take kratom wait 24 hours and piss to see if it pops hot. Simple as that.
I have ADHD and I can tell you right now you're better off learning how to deal with it naturally. The best advice I can give is to exercise before doing any type of book work, schoolwork, etc.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

Kratom brah checking in
What made me a believer was i blew my lower back out squatting. I took.. i wanna say 4 over the counter pain killers. Nothing. This was that kind of pain where you are gasping just walking to the bathroom.
I took way too much kratom I had on me. Im normally a powder guy but these were tabs. I took 16 total. The pain was gone. I dont mean it was lessened. I mean it was gone. I take a little big every day. It is like anything else. You dont want to get dependent on it. I have a mild dependency but its manageable. All of the horror stories ive heard are people taking a chit ton. Let me be clear. If you are stupid enough to do this the euphoric and hyper focus effects will no longer be there and you will wake up not functioning well until you have some. I am on a script that starts with “add”. Many days i take 1/3 to 1/6 of my script because its the same deal. Let me repeat this again take it when you need it - if youre dumb enough to take a lot every day youre not going to get euphoria off it anyway and you wont be able to function til you have it every day.

im diagnosed and tbh I think the most important thing is making a schedule
if you have work to do you're gonna sit down and do it at the exact same time every single day, if you don't have any work this week left start next weeks
we need structure to succeed, not drugs. Drugs will fix the problem but as someone that has taken all stims money can buy aside from ice they won't provide the motivation you're seeking. So it makes it easier to keep doing stuff when you sit down to do it, when you sit down to do it. Never make yourself sit down and be productive and you're not getting anything doneOfficial LTC representative

For life-interfering ADHD - working with a psychologist that will help you use organization and technology to your advantage. Apps on your phone, scheduling, daily structure, accountability, etc. With ADHD, it isn't your fault that your brain is 'wired' that way. Managing the symptoms with the above is your best bet. If you need more help - Dextroamphetamine but only at a therapeutic dose. I can't comment about kratom for ADHD. Does it really help? I can see the logic of a white being helpful, but it doesn't act on the same neurotransmitters as Dextroamphetamine would?
There's a lot of back and forth in this thread about irresponsibility, junkies, drug addicts etc. In the end, it's your life and your decision how you run it. If you want to have coffee in the morning to stimulate your brain, do it. If you want to take a bit of kratom because it helps you with motivation or increases you being social, by all means. Like everything, there's potential for abuse, and it isn't just a harmless leaf of a plant. You don't want it to become a crutch you can't live without.
Kratom is meant to add to your already enriched life, not become it.
Also, never forget one thing. If you're taking a substance because you're currently miserable and it makes you feel good, once you stop taking it - you'll be miserable again because you did not effectively address the core issue. I've heard lots of people claim depression once they quit kratom but that depression was there before. If kratom lulls you into this false sense of security, once you stop, that depression will be ten-fold. As difficult as it is, it's a better long term solution to deal with your problems head on rather than trying to slap a bandaid on them. Although, if something like kratom can help you slowly achieve your behavioural goals, that's another thing. That's the reason people take SSRIs after all. SSRIs are one of the most prescribed drugs in the world and their effectiveness has never really been scientifically proven.*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*

Thank you for piping in and telling people what's up. I'm in the same situation as you. I take it for a fukd up back and have for years. I left the country after taking it everyday for 2 years. I left it at home and the only adverse reaction I had was the pain that I take it for. The people who get addicted to kratom are the same people who'd be addicted to green plants or coffee. It's not even close to the same as hard drugs.
