Agree with the window unit vs portable. I have a portable AC unit in my 2nd floor office and it actually works really well up there . . . but it's a pretty small space. A portable unit wouldn't be very good at all for a large, hot space like a garage.
Or, if you have cash to burn, get one of those ductless units installed. Those things are teetz for a garage.

I’m accused of being a huge liberal because I don’t gobble Donny “bump stock ban” Trump’s penis.

Meanwhile in Cali . . .
https://www.foxnews.com/us/californi...harged-assault
A California man captured on camera pointing a loaded AR-15 rifle at a group of advancing protesters has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Jacob Daniel Bracken, 38, of Rancho Cucamonga, faces two counts of assault with a deadly weapon related to the incident in Upland on Monday, the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office said.
Even though Bracken did not fire the rifle and no one was injured, Upland Police Chief Darren Goodman explained the assault charge: “You point the weapon at someone with the intent to intimidate and the weapon being loaded itself.”
One video shared by a KNBC reporter at the scene showed Bracken take the AR-15 out of a pickup truck, yelling for the crowd to “back the f--- up.”
Goodman said they have videos as well as still photos that “conclusively showed” Bracken pointing the weapon at some point.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Most newb question ever so go easy on me...
I have an extra lower, thinking of pairing it with a 300 blackout bcm upper.
https://bravocompanyusa.com/bcm-uppe...-300-blackout/
Most of these are like 9-12.5" uppers. Isn't 16" the shortest I can slap on there and still be legal? Maybe its different ny state, idk. I'm in PA..PHILLIES/EAGLES CREW

If I get an RMR off Amazon, what are the odds it's going to be a knock-off?

Honestly, I just looked at a couple other places and there's really not much price difference. Just going to order one through Primary Arms probably. I'll see if I can find it anywhere cheaper, but yeah... you're right. Probably easiest to just go with someone reputable.

LEO buddy of mine said a guy was arrested from protests on Monday for carrying an AR pistol slung across his chest. In TX you can open carry a rifle, but to open carry a pistol you need a permit and it needs to be in a holster.

I was finishing up my new roof yesterday with no shade and it hit 90. Probably 8 hours total standing on or around black shingles and tar paper. Talk to me about heat.

What a monumentally ridiculous system. They can riot and protest for the change they want to see in the world, why can't we?
Common sense gun reform:
Repeal "evil features" AWB laws
Repeal NFA rules regarding barrel lengths
Constitutional carry and possession if not a PP, PERIOD.We are all gunna make it

Texas laws aren't as pro gun as TV would lead most people to believe.
If you're going to open carry a firearm, you'd better know the law, or have a lawyer ready to roll

I roofed my last house, an old 60s tract home. It had 3 layers of old tar paper underneath the shingles. It was a huge pain in the ass. We put down the sticky paper so I had to remove every single fukking nail on the roof. It took about 14, 14 hour days to do the roof with two guys. I wouldn't say I really save any money, even though I saved "thousands". I'd rather work 400 hours in any other job to make up the difference if I had to.
We did it in the "spring". The month of April decided to be 95 degrees that year.Boycott foodservice industry crew
