By the way, if any of you are within 400 miles of Dalton New Hampshire and want to train at an absolutely amazing facility with instructors who are actually good at it with a background of real world experience to back it up, I highly recommend spending the pittance it costs to train at Ridgeline: https://www.ridgelineshooting.com/
Just awesome.

With that latest order . . . I'm in pretty good shape for masks now. Puts me at around 30 3M N95s and then I have around 40 of mixed KN90 & KN95s with another 40 KN95s on the way. Plus about 60 disposable surgical masks. May get some more of those just to have on hand for random stuff like haircuts and stuff like that.
I'm factoring in a second wave happening and flu season, so wanting to plan accordingly and not be standing short and have some for mom and my in-laws. All the cloth masks we've gotten from people suck--and are hot. Would much rather have the good ones that actually filter and breathe better.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Seeing as people are getting fired for getting caught on camera being racist, how long before this woman gets fired for racism?

So, I should know about this but I haven't a clue...where the hell do you start with picking a KN95?
I will just have the two boxes of N95, but also a two half mask and two full face with a few filter sets for each and about 60 I think surgical masks (because I apparently lost a box of 50?) but the N95 is what I want now...the surgical masks are just not at all confidence inspiring and the half face and full face respirators make me feel like darth vadar or I just crashed in the family's barn with my delorean. If it comes back hard in the fall more of the N/KN type are a really good balance
Also, I like the idea of wearing a mask shooting indoors now because of all the crap in the air and, well, once again N95 is perfect, it allows a cheek weld while also actually stopping stuff

Thanks Taf, good call.
I've been wearing a P100 half mask and eye pro...half because it works and I have it, half because it's *not* socially acceptable and there's something to looking like a ****ing crazy person to deter problems in this day and age. These will be nice when I have to be around polite company though for more than a 30 minute grocery store run.
Honestly wouldn't bother trying - KN95 is the Chinese standard and you can bet that Chang's ballsack has been all over any and every mask heading from the Chicoms to the US. This is a case where buying American might actually mean you haven't bought an intentionally sabotaged product. This account was created for the purpose of roleplaying and satire. Ebay is probably the best place. I've ordered a few different kinds . . . trying to stick with either 3M or manufacturers listed here with higher "scores" (like Powecom is a brand I ordered for example):
https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/resp...SHresults.html
Ebay can be sketchy and you never know for sure what you'll get--can be knock-offs. But I try to go with sellers with really high ratings and I figure that even a not-so-good KN95 is leaps and bounds better than an ill-fitting cloth mask. And these are not always a great price--right around what you'd pay for the N95s or maybe a little more. But I'd rather have them than not in a pinch.
The downside to the KN ones are that they are ear loops and they are not as comfy as the N95s. These ear loop extenders are pretty good and make those a lot more bearable. They will be my last used after the N95s though.

Great sale on some good Glock sights; paid $80 or so for each of the 3 sets I have, a steal at this price. Been almost 9 years on the oldest set and still going strong.

Glad some others can snag some. I think this is my 4th order from TCP Global . . . they are legit. Gave several away to family from the first order back in March. Not sure if I'll be able to get any more or if they'll cut off orders for people who have ordered more than X times at some point, but we'll see.
Fair points on the KN95. I suppose there's some risk there. They'll basically be back-ups to have on hand just in case. I'd rather have USA-made N95s for sure. But hedging bets isn't a bad thing. I have some 3M 9001 masks and the other brands I have ordered so far look to be of similar quality for what that eye test may be worth and the packaging is all very good.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

I got my second full face and my parents a half face from them, and one box of N95 the last time around, as well as some cartridges. All came through in a timely fashion and I'm quite confident it's legit and brand new.
Don't hesitate to grab what TCP global has in stock guys

Looking back at my gun purchases over the last 7 years, I would like to have not purchased my M14, and have put all of that money into rifle training. I like my M14 a lot, and I took it out to 600 yds Saturday night, but I'm about to put another $250 into it to finally be done, and it's just been expensive. I probably could've passed on the M16 set up as well.
Spend the money on training folks. You don't know what you don't know.Florida Crew as of 3/21

Mirin your wealth of knowledge and lifestyle Ike. And everyone else that gets deeply involved with their tools. I can't even calm the fuk down after 6 days of my job to enjoy a 6 pack of beer before it's 6am and it's time to go back. I wish I could talk shop with you all but I have nothing to add. It's one thing to build your rifles and buy these pistols, I can't imagine how much you all spend on range ammo. Fuk me.

Truth. I was going through 1000 rounds+ every month for the last 5 years, less now with ammo harder to find, maybe 500 or so rounds per month.
At least 2 days shooting per week; it's important to make time for hobbies, and when they are practical skills it's even better.
The Silver Bear I buy is $127/500, no membership fees to pay and it shoots well.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

Crazy. And you're right. I've been building myself financially and this year I thought I was going to be able to enjoy doing some things but we can see that's not going to happen anytime soon. Thanks Obama.

I also thought is was kind of ironic how they were tearing down statues of men that in the past had the balls to say fuk you with your pandering with corwin amendment etc to the federal government and claim they are fighting authoritarian govt at same time. Pisses me off to think if voting is indeed real, these idiots without 2 brain cells to rub together to try to understand history beyond good guy GI Joe vs Bad Guy Racist rebels somehow get a vote that counts as much as yours
edit: East saint louis got real life GTA video game gun shots and sheit just now but guy got shot or his phone did. pretty sure cops are shooting live rounds tonight

things like this is what capital punishment is for. But if things continue to go the way they are the history books will one day say maintaining rule of law was "an effort by whites to maintain social dominance" like the cucked college history books today call the south's attempt to stop insurrection and terrorism by having military courts try them and execute them while ignoring that more whites were killed that way.
