I'd happily sign a waiver to not have to wear a fcking stab vest if I could, very annoying and gets very hot/sweaty in the heat.
I'd take my chances just not getting stabbed. They are also only 'Spike III' which means sharp pointy objects, not legit knives; so if it's a nail than I am good, a legit knife (they make some incredible ones) than I am boned. I think the thick carrier material will provide more protection in that case than the plates.

I expect cuck Wallace to change the debate subjects last minute to address and question Trump on these latest Democrat hit pieces. He'll do this and lob softballs to Joe. But even with this I expect Trump to crush Biden. Can't wait.
I'll be shocked if there are no Trump taxes questions...

Honestly this election cycle has provided so much entertainment I see even a loss as just a $50 ticket for the show. Win or lose, this is fun; never cared about politics at all before about 2015, pretty sure that's the case for many.
If nothing else Trump got a lot of people involved in the political process, for better or worse.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

Need a gun, 300-700 dollar range. Pretty new to guns but have shot some before. Would a glock be ok for someone new? or Beretta??

a glock is basically the honda civic of guns.
i d get a glock 19 (should be able to find gen3-5, call around), get some trijicon night sights on it, stock up on 9mm ammo [fmj (for range and backup home defense) and hp/sp (don't shoot these now, ammo to expensive, save these for home defense. Go for at LEAST 1000rds for shtf)], get a good secure gun safe (you need to be able to prevent your chit from getting looted from quick smash and grabs. If they are expert thieves you are cuked anyways. amazon sells reusable silcon gun safe dehumidifiers for 15-20$ buy one of these so your weapons/ammo arent exposed to excessive moisture), get a nice holster, get some basic cleaning equipment, get eyes and ears (saftey glasses/ear protection), get to the range whenever you can and practice.Last edited by Legendsneverdie; 09-28-2020 at 07:05 PM.

yea il burn some rounds through it, although it wouldnt be the first thing id grab for home defense. imo a 20" AR is incredibly fun to shoot at the range. that rifle length gas system with a small round like 5.56 is just fun. this has a 1:7 rifling twist too, so itl handle heavier rounds for more accurate longer shots. im not sure if i would want to put an optic on that particular set up though.

yea, i definitely see the benefit of practicing with iron sights because skills with irons will translate into skills with an ACOG. it also makes it more challenging.
i think what id prefer to do with my 20" ARs is to get some kind of modernized upper with high power glass and a bipod and leave my retro rifles retro. speaking of modernized, scoped 20" ARs, id been kicking around the idea of getting something resembling an A4 with a full quad rail, resembling this

I'm considering picking up a SBR or Ar pistol and looking for some recommendations. I haven't dug super deep into it yet and I'm not in a hurry to make this purchase, I'll wait until after the election when things calm down for a bit. I saw the PSA KS-47 on youtube and that sparked my interest, but the main purpose of this gun would be home defense and 5.56 is a better choice for that when compared to 7.62 due to overpenetration, right? Price isn't a super big concern but I don't want to pay an extra $1500 for something just because it looks cooler. Would like to keep it under $1500. I would be open to other guns and calibers but I have a bunch of ammo and AR mags already so thought it would be the logical choice.
Is there anything that isn't obvious to be considered with barrel length? I mostly see anywhere from 7" to 12" barrels, I'm buying it because its small but I'm not sure if the super short barrels would be too short for the caliber. I'm not going to be shooting 1000 Yards.
AR pistol > SBR right? Too many hoops to jump through for the SBR?
Which manufacturer to pick? I don't want a budget gun, but I also don't want to spend $2500.

it is definitely a nice set up, and also retro in its own way. that look was popular in the mid 2000's but real modernized ARs have gone to mlok rails. my understanding is that most people have moved away from the oldschool aluminum cheese grater type quad rails. i dont own anything exactly like that right now but i really do like the way they look

Supply of pretty much everything remotely popular is pure shyt right now. Everyone and their brother, sister and cousin have been buying whatever is available for the last few months with the riots--even the libs.

i think the trend for awhile was that people were trying to get too tactical with way too many accessories, and that coupled with a heavier rail system resulted in a very heavy rifle. on the other hand, a plain stock plastic furniture 16" AR with iron sights is a pleasure to shoot. put an ACOG on it and its very capable.
i still actually prefer the look of olschool ARs, but i understand why an mlok rail with a free float barrel is a better choice
this, demand has skyrocketed. i feel kinda bad for people who are just now getting into firearms. ive been panic buying guns, ammo and magazines for a very long time.

i havent noticed any difference. only glock i own which was USA made is my gen 4 G17, everything else is stamped austria, and thats also the only gen 4 G17 i own.
i will say though, the gen 3 G17, gen 3 G19 and gen 4 G17 all feel very similar when shooting them side by side. recoil impulse is almost identical. only difference is that the trigger isnt consistent. some glocks have great triggers, some have terrible triggers, and others have average triggers.Merica

Well the CZ 712 was a waste.
Wife really wanted a shotgun bc she had them growing up. Well all the chit she had was like .410 or 20g double barrel.
She can't even hold the 20" CZ properly because it's too large.
Guess I'm building her an AR.480s / 370b / 495d / 235 x 2 SOHP
