I bought one of these to test out on a training toy. The 50k hour battery life is based on intermittent use / low power etc., it's closer to 5k probably. Fine for a range toy. Primary makes a similar product (https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-...y-life-red-dot) that boasts a true 40k hour constant on battery life, costs about the same.

All told neither of these are serious use optics imo...then again I've managed to break ACOGs, an EOtech, snapped a Harris bipod, etc so I guess it depends on what you're doing to it.

I see your angle.

I wouldn't equip one on a duty weapon or deploy with it... but for home defense and the range I think it's a good bet. I also have irons so I am not fully reliant on this.

I think I'm gonna go with the MRO. I like that it has a slight magnification. But the aimpoints are nice too. I guess I'll take whichever they have in stock.

Every company has had an issue or two. Not every company tells their customers to get f-cked when their chit tier ammo destroyed their property and potentially injured them.

Federal xm193, or prvi m193 are the same price. American Eagle, Fiocchi and AE are cheaper. Why take a chance?
