    Pain/Discomfort behind shoulder when wide-grip bench-pressing

    I've never experienced this before. I felt stronger in this wider position, but I had some kind of discomfort behind my right shoulder, and it also radiated into my upper lat where it meets the shoulder. It doesn't hurt at all when I'm not benching though, and didn't hurt after the workout. Even if I move my shoulder around searching for pain, my shoulder feels fine.

    If you are not feeling any pain, then you are completely fine. Just do some stretches before doing exercise, and keep yourself well hydrated for healthy muscles.
