With the gyms opening back up here in Oklahoma, it's about time to return to the gym. I've heard that our gym took out around half the equipment to allow for social distancing and increased the number of wipe down stations. I haven't been personally to the gym yet, but might return in a few weeks depending on how things go. My question is, does anyone plan on competing any time soon? Personally, I haven't been to the gym in about 8 weeks. We don't have any equipment, but I've been doing daily push ups and walking the dog. My wife's friend has been doing a social distancing workout/class that she does on her driveway that I've been going to once a week. My wife still gets to go 6 days a week as I'm working from home during the time of the class most days. I'd like to possibly compete this year, but who knows what's going to happen with the virus going around and how organizations will get around the distancing. You can't exactly judge people very well who are standing 6 feet apart . For those of you who were planning on competing during the last couple of months, did you just maintain your meal plan during the lockdowns and will just wait until a show gets rescheduled? How did you maintain your workout schedule? Did some of you just say @#$% it and stop your training? I can say from someone who currently isn't on a meal plan, it's been difficult not to eat everything in sight. I can imagine it's even harder for those of you who were. Just wanted to get a positive discussion going about something we can all hopefully look forward to.

I was supposed to compete April 4th. It got cancelled, then I decided on another show later in May... knowing well it would probably be cancelled.
Since then most shows until late August have been cancelled or postponed. I hope I will get to step on stage later in 2020, hopefully in October/November but I don't really believe it will happen. I'm back to bulking and I follow my meal plan 80% I'd say. I went off track for a while for maybe 3-4 weeks (when shows were cancelled one after another) but I'm back to normal now.
I doubt gyms will open soon (I'm in Quebec) because we have more cases everyday. I still train as much, gyms are closed but I have a pretty decent home gym.Mom of two boys. Natural competitor.

Well, The Olympia just got postponed until December - to the one week where I cannot compete (my sister's wedding). So that just changed things for me

I was lined up for my first show of the year in April; and another in May; both cancelled of course.
For the last bunch of years, I would also do a show in Sept but, being frustrated after these cancelled shows, I just started a bulk and will stick to that until middle of Dec maybe Jan 1st, then start cut for April 2021
I haven't had a long growing season like this for a few years, doing the up and down thing twice a year, so I'm looking forward to seeing some size come on for 2021.2017 OCB Men's Physique Open 4th place
