I somewhat agree, but I acknowledge that it has become a lot more complicated than that. Suffice to say, the FBI played hardball with Flynn. They ****ing bodied him. And he should have seen it coming, but he's kind of a brash pugnacious ******* who gets himself into trouble.

What sticks in my craw are all the new civil libertarians on R/P saying "If it can happen to Flynn (or Trump, even), it can happen to anyone," as though all this time they've been gravely concerned with the poor people and minorities who the gubmint/police/DAs/AttorneysGeneral have been railroading for decades.

First part, looks like you’re back to being rational. Yes he said he lied, but even the agent interviewing him said he didn’t think he lied. Then add in everything else that questionable about the case.

Imagine a scenario where a 3 star general, someone who knows how the system works, is extorted and coerced to such a degree that even he felt he had no other choice than to plead guilty to a crime he knew he didn’t commit.

Don’t forget, they brought the FARA charges (The same ones they threatened Flynn with) against Flynn’s business partner.

The jury found him guilty, and the judge had to step in and overturn it with prejudice because muellers team literally presented no evidence that they were working for turkey or that they lied on the FARA forms. DC juries are that far left that facts and evidence are afterthoughts.

Strzok and muellers team knew this, they just released evidence showing they knew the forms were fine. They didn’t care. Anything for prosecutions.

That’s what Flynn knew he and his family were up against.

Imagine if obamas team faces the same level of scrutiny. They’d all be in jail for life.

There is a another hearing tomorrow in the Flynn case. We will see if sullivan continues to bury his head in the sand, or if he finally dismisses the case like he is legally obligated to do.

Sullivan should be going after Mueller's team for lying repeatedly in court (i.e. "we aren't withholding exculpatory evidence, we had a predicate to investigate flynn, sidney powell is just chasing conspiracy theories, etc."). All proven to be true once they coughed up the info that they were hiding from day 1.

Mueller's lawyers should have the license revoked and they should be facing prosecution themselves. Time will tell.

No doubt. But his time is up. At this point, he has been scolded by the appellate court and there has been an avalanche of proof showing they had no case on Flynn and that he was illegally targeted. On top of that, the prosecution lied in his court time and time again.

If he drags this out with Flynn any longer, I think it goes to the supreme court and the final judgement will not look good for Sullivan's career/legacy. He's on the brink of facing serious repercussions and he knows it.
