Jury still out on Elliott imo...if he has another down year then yes wasted pick...also it seemed like not long after he was drafted was when the league decided that RBs were worthless.

Yes Surtain/Horn would've been preferred here...but I like Parsons over them reaching for Farley, which I was expecting

yeah, really burned a pick which turned out to be a 2 time rushing champ (would have been 3 without the bs suspension) and one of the most productive backs in the league

Slater and I would have had a 10 year starter at guard that’s far superior to any guard we have vs an olb that’s played the position for two years and has 0 coverage skills. And when Tyron gets hurt( he will) or Collins never is the same after hip surgery I woulda put his ass at tackle. But Dallas did draft jaylon smith and lve so they know how to hit home runs with lbs. we just need to draft a hurt guy today to complete the cycle

i totally get the debate of zeke vs Ramsey , needs of team , etc

But may I ask, what would zeke have to had done, production wise, for you not to consider him a waste or bust?
I would be interested in going back drafts and looking at #4s and seeing how their careers stacked up to zeke

Not calling Zeke a bust but cb is a premium position in the nfl like qb, left tackle, and pass rush. I can’t remember the last time we had an elite cb and were constantly burned in the secondary. I always pull for zeke but I wanted the cb, and taking a look at our current cbs ain’t pretty. My point with parsons is unless they invest some capital in the interior dl he’s just going to be swallowed by blockers. And if parsons turns out to be Bobby Wagner I’ll gladly own it and eat my crow

Man, that Deion reference is hard to pass nowadays, being how offense geared the officiating is...Ramsey is a generational talent imo

Also we did have a pretty good CB in Jones, but we hit him with a l8r sk8r after arguably his best year

Zeke being heavy with the fumbles/declining rushing yds/large cap hit is sparking this debating at the moment...2016 Zeke was next level and no doubt an excellent pick at 4.

If he has a bounce back year (he should being that the offense should be healthy) he'll be back in our good graces no doubt.

Thought this was a potato move by Denver. They must not like what they saw in Fields or seriously plan on making a move for someone in a trade. You need a great QB to survive in a division with Mahomes.

Not saying Fields is it, because I think he busts, but everyone else is super high on him and its hard to pass up a QB prospect that is touted like that.

I keep hearing Denver and Oakland being discussed as being in the race. The Green Bay front office must be potato because it's obvious Rodger's has been frustrated for awhile, I think the Love pick pushed him over the edge. He's a diva, but really, GB has done nothing to put weapons around him....I'd be pissed too.

Denver with Rodgers would be an offensive powerhouse with Sutton/Hamler/Juedy/Fant/Gordon III. They would easily rival the Chiefs.

Collins is supposed to be back healthy. Knoght provides depth. How much resources do u want to put into o line? Ut wont matter how good the o line is if the other teams offense is unstoppable. Collins is supposed to be healthy lol after hip surgery and he’s completely out of shape, I’m sure Tyron is supposed to be healthy too but he’ll miss his usual 4-6 games. Take a look at our oline depth, oh there is NONE. Connor Williams sucks and will be gone after his contract is up but hey take a lb. now we just took a head case cb that two coaching staffs quit on and he’s trying to become a rapper. Dunno what could go wrong

Bingo. Havent really been paying attention the last couple days. But logged on and looked at pics thinking "damn i hope they get some D." Then see "LB, CB, DT, DE, CB" and thought well damn i guess they went there.

draft has been such a tease. miss surtain AND moehrig by 1 position. amazing how much different it'd feel on paper if they grabbed those two. could be completely wrong and they could bust but it really fills the gapping holes on the team the best if they moved up for them both times.

That being said i believe parsons will be an absolute animal and the Kentucky cb obliterated those Alabama wrs in college - probably the only one to do so. cant write these picks off yet. looks like good value at DT/DE as well. The last CB was a bit of a gamble but if he continues developing at 6'4 you got yourself a gem that can counter taller WR like DK at the line (switch to a safety downfield for speed) and pick off TE's that are used to a big size advantage.

end of the day you just gotta see how they play in the nfl
