If Dallas gets OBJ, I pray to God we don't abandon the run game. I'd flip my **** if Kellen Moore goes back to 40 pass attempt for Dak. That's the main reason I kind of don't want the Cowboys to sign him. We all know he demands the ball so he can dance in the inzone once a game. Never been a fan of OBJ attitude.

Very valid concern, we are all arm-chair coaches ITT, but we've been saying for years to stop forcing Dak to throw 40 times a game. No idea how a professional OC cannot see that running the ball when you have a solid defense works.

OBJ is a diva, but he's a hard worker and passionate. I think he would open up a lot of field for CeeDee and Gallup.

Dalton Schultz, rookie Jake Ferguson and the other rookie Peyton Hendershot are all doing awesome. Kellen Moore is utilizing these 3-headed monsters well. Schultz is playing on a 1-yr contract at 10.9 million. He's only 26 yrs old and he's a big boy at 6'5" 244lbs. I think the Cowboys can sign him to a 3-year deal since the other TEs are still playing on their rookie contract. We just don't know how the rookies will hold up over the years while we already know what we got with Schultz.

Think it will depend on how he finishes the year. Having a reliable TE is very valuable in today's NFL. Gotta see how much his production/performance surpasses the rookies to determine if a contract is warranted. He hasn't been consistent/impactful enough to warrant big money IMO.

46 catches, 310 yards, 9.4 yards per catch, and 3 TDs. He's the 3rd best receiver on the team. Not eye popping numbers like Kelce but he is reliable.

A conservative contract won't break the bank but he might get more money elsewhere. If that is the case then he's as good as gone. You get paid but also take a risk seeing your career tank.

tight end is super deep right now. schultz is franchised tagged currently but i remeber there was about 11 teams this off season salvating over him so not sure how its gonna play out. dont think theyll offer him a mega contract but hes definitely an elite tight end. glad to see those 2 or 3 tight end sets since there all capable.

Super Bowl 2023 or bust!

Anthony Brown is already 30 and was never that great. He's gone.
Jason Peters is a 1 time thing in Dallas. He's gone.
Dalton Schultz, I like him and want him to stay. He may be let go since we have other TEs that can step in right away. Bummer.
LVE is gone. Dude was never the same after his injury.
C.J. Goodwin is gone.
James Washington is probably gone.
Connor McGovern is probably gone.
Tyron Smith may get cut. This year has shown we don't need him and all his penalties and injuries anymore. Besides, he's 33 yrs old already. He had a good run.
Zeke may be asked to take a massive pay cut or get released outright. I didn't realize he was 27 yrs old because he runs like he's over 30. Take a restructured contract or good riddance.

especially given our salary cap situation. Plus he said that he won't be ready for 5 weeks which is probably an optimistic time frame.

I'm glad it seems that they are passing on OBJ. How can he expect to get signed to a deal without working out and showing he's healthy? I was under the impression he'd be ready to go now. CeeDee has really stepped up the last 4 weeks, I feel good with him and Gallup. Washington returning will also help.

This is all a result of the run game working though. If we get back into that pass happy crap we will struggle.
