Romo carried that organization during his tenure there. The front office did a horrible job building a team around him until it was too late.

This is the boat I'm in as well. This was a hard year to judge anything due to minimal offseason/practice and injures combined with the new staff.

I don't think the injury will physically slow him down much. He's young and strong and should recover......mentally is a different story however.

He's been squatting for a while now, had to have a 2nd cleanup surgery in early December that out him back on crutches but that was just to let the nerves recover with no trauma.

If you want to be real.

There's only 1 elite qb in the league, all the others have sample sizes you can highlight of bad play.

Dak is firmly in the top 5.... Top 8 at worse. going forward and to think otherwise is distancing one's self from reality.

Case in point, Wilson finished the year right next to Andy Dalton in EPA/CPOE composite, they're not even in the same stratosphere of QB but if you want to lean on that 8 game sample.....

Miss st will only be relevant because leach. Dak made them a team alone. Like cam at auburn and vy at Texas. Dak is great. Craplegs has a 5k yard season and is a backup now. Game has changed. Elite belongs to Brady and mahomes.

I'm willing to give him another year. All things considered (no off season, Dak hurt, offensive line in shambles, rotating QBs) The team did improve as the year went on, and there isn't exactly any hot head coaches out there now.

Not big on retread hires myself, but it’s pretty impossible to judge him off last season. At least it wasn’t Jason garrett

I would love to see Dallas sign JJ Watt. I know he is past his prime, but he instantly better than what we have and he's the type of leader to hold the team accountable and give some real motivation.

We have not had a true leader on defense in a very long time.
