    Getting bloated and gassy suddenly

    I used to have oats with 2 scoops of whey protien for lunch for long time with no issues but these past months I've noticed that the days I'm having it for lunch, by 8 pm or so I will start feeling bloated and gassy it's really uncomfortable. Protiens i used are: musclepharm(for a long time with no issues till I started having this problem then switched to dymatize elite
    I remember when i was a kid when mom would make me milk to drink from powdered milk I would get diarrhea
    Is this what is called being lactose intolerance. Forgive my ignorance 😂

    I don't know much about lactose and how it affects those who are intolerant to it but having protein by lunch at 1 pm
    And then 7 to 8 hours later having this problem is it normal and would whey isolate be a batter option?

    I had a different lunch today
    It's 9:23pm now where I live. No issues so far
    Guess I'll be having whey from time to time and only a scoop a day max till I'm finished with my 2 tups then switch tp to an isolate and see how it goes.

    It's weird especially if you have been taking it for a while with no issues to suddenly have issues with gas/bloating.

    Try going a couple of days, and if you don't have any issues, try your typically Oats and Protein and see if you get gassy again. if you do, then switch it up to a better protein. Maybe try Isopure, Optimum Nutrition or Rule 1. I've never had any issues while taking any three of those powders. (Although Isopure's taste is a little rough IMO.)

    The thing is I was going fine for months having 2 scoops of musclepharm whey with oats for lunch. Then i ordered this tub which was bad and smiled weird and had a refund
    Then the next one came and was too sweet and tasted a bit different than what I was used to but not bad. I would put some ground coffee with the mix to compensate for the sweetness. It was with that tub That i started having diarrhea and stomach issue. It lasted for 2 weeks then went to the hospital and was diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori
    This was 2 or 3 months ago. Since then I'm having this problem even though i switched the protein powder brand.
