For example, the jobs market is so over saturated with business degrees that business students become unemployed. I graduated with both an accounting and Engineering degree and the only business related job that I could find was as a bank teller, good thing I also got a Engineering degree.

Because life kinda sucks srs. I’m feeling it right now. Not that I want to die, but the depression aspect. Many... actually MOST of us work jobs we hate they consume most of our free time while zapping our spirit of any energy we had to focus on our passions. Even to support ourselves it’s difficult to escape the rat race, however once we get married and have children it becomes nearly impossible. At that point the weight of the entire family falls on the man. He’s expected to sacrifice himself to provide, which is partly what nature intended, but not in the way we go about it in today’s society. As a result the weaker minded or less fortunate become overwhelmed, turn to destructive behaviors such as alcoholism (this was my father) or just lose all hope and feel it would be easier to off themselves than to live with the pain.

In short, most men see no light at the end of the tunnel.

This is a big part of it legitimately. Women in some studies attempt suicide more often. Men are more prone to techniques that are effective. I.E. guns. Even in suicide women are concerned with aesthetics. They are less likely to blow their heads off and more likely to try to overdose. Couple that with men generally carrying guns more often. Having jobs that include carrying guns.

Sprinkle in the other factors mentioned and add in that men are more of risk takers than women and you have a recipe for it.

Men have no support group because one less of them is less competition. Women have more support group for the opposite reason. They also support each other in this regard because when everyone has options they don't have as much infighting.
