Reason - The sausage they put on pizza is garbage. It's meat that wasn't good enough to make a burger from. If you happen to go to a mom and pop place that makes their own, then fine, but any sort of chain will be sh!t.

Agreed, most pizza places do a bad job with sausage. Buy some sweet Italian sausage yourself, braise/caramelize it, and it will make an incredible topping. Anchovies are good on the right pizza. Depends on quality tbh. A lot of traditional places will have less cheese, more sauce, anchovies, and the end result tastes incredible. The history of fish on flatbreads in Italy goes back pretty far.
