Just kidding, glad to see you are making progress TVK!!! I suck at squatting. All quad dominant and really struggle to push down with the heels. I had to start front squatting (which I HATE) to try to help fix my form. It did help, but my squat still sucked.

TX! I didn’t realize those were custom wheels! It makes sense, they kept telling us we have two sets of summer tires with this car. I knew the blue with gold wheels is the “signature”, I guess I assumed they came that way. That’s even more hilarious and French. I need a good French whores name for her. Open to suggestion!

Thanks. I need to probably start doing some yoga at home or something such as that to help with the mobility. But after watching a few vids and doing some self diagnosing and such, might stick to the ankles/calves. And really keep chit moving while at work. Sitting most of the day doesnt help.

Yeah, if you get a set of cheap steelie wheels and some winter tires, that thing will claw it's way through winter, as long as it isn't too deep.

I’m not REALLY worried about winter. I will definitely have winter rims/tires. I’m slightly concerned about the sport tech body kit it’s got on it because I do drive in deeper snow often. I’ll just have to be careful I guess.

Well guys. I did it. On Thursday I get my 2016 Subaru WRX STI sport edition. This car is in such good condition that it is in the showroom, it is MINT. They are taking it out for me to test drive Monday before it goes for it’s makeover and final inspection. I’m so friggen excited. 300hp and 290ft lbs of torque. I am probably going to lose my license with this car but Lordy, I’m gonna have fun doing it. It’s the classic blue with the guido gold rims! I can’t wait!!!

TVK - great job. Glad to see the leg is feeling good. I suck at squatting, so can't give any advice. I have depth issues too and the only thing that helps me quickly is to elevate the heels. Either with shoes or put 5lb plates under your heels.

Got my first vax shot on Friday. Saturday had a sore shoulder and a headache all day until I had a few beers. Sunday, pretty much back to normal. Shoulder still a little sore, but nothing big. Today, I'm all good and plan on working out tonight.

Also, replaced the front brakes and rotors on the Jeep this weekend. Passenger side somehow got a rock lodged in the calber and wore out the inner pad and buggered up the rotor. Fought with these stupid 6 spline lug nuts. Finally gave up trying to remove them with a 17mm and drove to the Earl Schwabb place by my house to buy normal lug nuts. When I'm talking to the guy, he says, oh, wait a sec. Goes into the shop and comes back with a 6 spline socket. I say, ok, where do I get one of these or can you sell me this one. The guy says, what socket? have a good day.

Im thinking of doing this next time too. If i raise my heels every so slightly air squatting, i get so much more depth.

Actually took a video last week squatting to look at my form (first time ever) at 135. Mobility is getting better, and about a year ago i was still limping and had intermittent pain.

So I've been at a state job for a little over a week now. It's pretty damn legit. I never knew that a job could be this laid back. I think I may have added a decade to life expectancy just by the stress reduction. Also being in a poor state it was actually a pretty significant pay raise.

Dreaming about working in something like that, saving it for closer to retirement. My exact job title working for the province or a municipality public works department pays half.

I’m really showing my geezerness but I hate to pay for all the things I won’t use... like a back up camera and all that weird crap. I don’t want my car to drive for me. We've had huge issues with the speed at which they contact trace. It takes them 7-10 days to do so and by that point it's worthless.

That app is so stupid. It traces you back to a positive case from the testing center you were at if you get tested. Of course, you were in the same area as someone with COVID at the testing center?!?!? Still, isolate for 14 days. I refused to get it or let Matt get it. Fukk that. Not that I know what that's like.) Got the official quarantine phone call this morning. Quarantine start date officially began on Saturday. Which is stupid because I was out running errands on Saturday. Went to the post office, got a hair cut, and picked up some cigars.

Can't test out of quarantine either which I don't understand. The contact was on Friday. It's day 4 and no symptoms. I have to get a test probably tomorrow. What I don't understand is why can't you test out of it. If after a few days of contact and it's not showing up on a test, then surely it's not "incubating" still and Covid is not in my system. So what even is the point of the test? What an absolute waste of time.

Not sure why military protocol hasn't kept up with CDC guidance. New guidance says you can test out of quarantine after 7 days (test must occur at least 5 days after contact) if you have not had any symptoms. Even without testing, quarantine is down to 10 days if you have been symptom free.

Everyone seems to be slow to react to CDC. All the Govt jobs I work around are still stuck 8 months ago, as is the military. It's a socialist society, so they don't want to let go.
