100% buddy. I lost my good friend when we were 18, was hard seeing someone young in a casket. Another one when i was 21 n i was texting her the night she got in a accident. Her mom wanted to do her hair for the funeral- it haunts me sometimes when i try to sleep
Those are tragedies that I genuinely, truly, still think about 10 years later.
Living 80-90 is a gift and worth celebrating, man. I mean that.Truth is out there

Sorry to hear that my bruh. I know what it's like to have someone close to you die. And she died from lung cancer as well. During her last months of life, she was kept completely safe from everything - stayed quarantined, barely allowed to touch anything that had direct contact with the outside world (due to weakened immunity from chemo), and only ate healthy, high antioxidant foods that had no taste or flavor, and not allowed to do any outside activities imposed by close family members. Yet she ended up passing unexpectedly due to that weakened immunity.
Unfortunately this is life. We live, we thrive, we face challenges, we overcome, and if we can't go on, we die. No one lives forever, and in her last days I really wanted to share with this loved one of mine how to truly learn to live and enjoy life. I can only imagine the feeling of being trapped right before your very last days.
But when it's time, it's time, and we will all meet the same fate one day.
My condolences brah. Just remember that none of us live forever. Either we stay safe and sheltered from everything or we experience it to the fullest. It's a road we all choose.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

You know with a normal group of people, there'd just be posts along the lines of 'sorry for your loss bro' but here we are with a bunch of edgelord *******s chiming in about the triviality of other peoples' tragedies and posting their tin-foil hat garbage.

It is just a flu and I will go further that it has less strength than the regular flu. And it kills less than the regular flu at a lower rate if calculated honestly and objectivity.
So many people ESPECIALLY in the modern world are sick. Poor diet, pesticides in all food, low vitamin D, mental stress, obesity and poor lifestyle overall. It is no surprising that just like every other year the vulnerable die from the flu, just like last year and the years before.
At which point will we and the medical industry talk about how to strengthen and support our immune system and what has caused the world to have such weak immunity.
I ain’t worried and never was worried, proudly the it’s just a flu bro gangLast edited by Skinnyfloyd1; 04-04-2020 at 09:11 PM.

My projection was off, 1,346 is the current standing for deaths today.
That's only 295 less than the amount of people who died from cancer today.
That's an increase of 160 from yesterday and 271 from the day before.
Again, while you say that most of the population doesn't understand math, your posts displays a fundamental lack of understanding of the power of exponential growth.
At a current growth rate of 1.12, daily deaths will continue to increase throughout this entire month and COVID-19 will quickly surpass daily cancer and heart disease deaths.*Has to wear a diaper when squatting crew*

Except that's not how this works.
Ignoring the fact how it would be nearly impossible to just isolate the "vulnerable", if you think the remaining 240,000,000 Americans who would be at risk for catching and spreading COVID-19 wouldn't lead to an overwhelmed healthcare system, then you need to do some more research. Even initial data from China showed that COVID-19 was 6-16x more deadly than the seasonal flu for individuals between the ages of 20 and 49.

I’m personally not scared of contracting it but I am also not a self centred fkwit so I will do my part to stop the spread
My father in law is dying from this. 56 years old, living a normal life with managed diabetes. He had many many years left. He video calls us everyday to see his grandkid, he’s been in a coma the last few days.
I truly hate people that treat this as a joke or CT. Absolute scum

Because if we don't flatten the curve, the healthcare system will be overrun? If we didn't quarantine, MILLIONS would die. MILLIONS. Do you understand that? Remember 9/11? THAT WAS 3000 FUKING PEOPLE. We're talking about millions here. Just stay in and chill. Play some games. Netflix. You'll get through it. SRS.
If you feel imprisoned, go watch Tiger King. You're welcome.

Dude that is how viruses work. If we don't substantially reduce the growth factor, tons of people are gonna die. Even WITH shelter in place and freezing our economy dramatically, we are still seeing exponential growth. LET THAT SINK IN.
"Part and parcel"?! Are you that mayor from the UK now? SRS? Economists have crunched the numbers. The CDC didn't give this recommendation in a half assed way. They are doing this because it is the only logical course of action. There is a reason Russia, India, and China responded the exact same way. Don't you think they care about their economies too? Come on, man. These countries couldn't give two chits about human rights and they still went and shut down. It's the best answer. People are resorting to the best option when stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's that simple. It's the chit sandwich you have to swallow.

You are a gigantic conman and a word twister. Your corrupt nature, poor grammatical understanding and poor reasoning faculties won’t be tolerated here nor allowed to thrive here. You want to word play but about to receive an enormous fair call coward.
First you quoted something I never wrote, so that alone nullifies your feeble attempt at an argument.
I wanted to address this notion of people dying WITHOUT them having underlying health issue in regards to crona. I addressed that point by using heart disease as a fair honest and reasonable comparison. Many people die suddenly by heart disease, so it’s an underlying health issue that they didn’t know about. So when someone dies from corona, and their family or medical establishment say they didn’t have an underlying health issues doesn’t mean they DIDN’T have a underlying health issue. They could have an underlying health issue but it didn’t present itself until the said individual’s untimely death. Unless they doing an autopsy on EVERY single death person from cronoa to rule out other causes of them, then this statement of X didn’t have an underlying health issue isn’t truth.
Many people you see today DO have underlying health issues it JUST that they don’t know.
But this all boils down to human health, why is modern man so sick and plagued by so many illness at a rate NEVER seen before with all this “advancement”

Let's be real about all of this:
Whether or not you agree with the directives; you're fukkin' in it now. If the economy hits the chitter, that sucks. It will suck for a lot of people. Myself included. Of course, I would prefer not to progress toward economic depression.
But again, this was a measured decision. I doubt that the possibility of economic collapse was not considered.
And again: if you want somebody to mad at, it's the administration that has allowed for this to either (a) progress to this level due to inability to prepare properly or (b) has decided to make a poor decision to combat a virus that "isn't that bad."
So regardless of how you feel; your issue really can't, and shouldn't be with the people who are concerned with the severity of the virus. After all, they are merely reacting to the level of concern that their own government is operating under. If your own government is risking possibly creating Great Depression 2.0, it's got to be at least worth noting, right? It would make sense that risking Great Depression 2.0 would mean that the virus is dangerous enough to merit that. Or at least, the strain on the healthcare system would be so great, that we would be required to take actions that could lead us to a large scale economic downturn.
It's weird, the type of mental gymnastics that some of ya'll let happen in order to find somebody to take your frustration out on... Meanwhile, your own government has made these directives and it genuinely doesn't matter if you're on the "It's just a flu" or "It's a serious matter" team.
We're all in this together. So either we start acting like it, or we will NEVER recover.
Stop looking for a place to lay the blame outside of your government administration.
We could have prepared for this, but we didn't.

BRB depending on a totalitarian yet incompetent government
BRB depending on an even worse and weak healthcare system who only know how to pump people up with pills and vaccines
And also BRB depending on the mass media for all of your information when all they only know is to spread fear and panic.

I really have refrained from making my opinion on this clear, but since I have to:
Both sides of this are complete and utter misdirection.
Both sides should be upset with their governing body, and not each other. While the reasons differ, the governing body is what has created this situation.
Both sides are misguided.

So what are your solutions bud?
Did you get a doctorate too?
You want to clown all of the well versed PhD's/CDC/WHO on the subject matter, so explain to me what we medical professionals don't know since all we do is "pump up with pills and vaccines" and apparently don't understand medical science like you do. Essential oils? Some garlic, bro? Is that what I fail to understand?
Yeah, the current government administration knew about Covid back in October, did nothing to prepare for it and just called it a "hoax". That's 100% true, I saw it live on TV and that's where your anger should be directed.
I keep seeing chit talk about those of us that are actually out here doing something about the sick, meanwhile you cry like little children about having to stay inside for a while rent free and safe.
Grow up and take off the tin foil hats.Last edited by blissful88; 04-04-2020 at 10:54 PM.

It's not virtue signaling. The growth is still exponential. You need to stay in or people die. This isn't negotiable. There aren't "multiple points of view" on this. This isn't a debate, and they need to pass laws so they shoot people who don't comply. It's really that simple. Stay inside.
Or we could ask the government to whip out the flamethrowers.

You think you'll have a normal life when the hospitals are full?
You think it'll be business as usual when hospitals cannot take ANY non COVID patients because the beds are all full of COVID patients?
And no. Regular flu would not have "got them next time". We have antivirals for influenza. We have vaccines. It's not the same.workout log(April 2020 edition): https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178296981
