Ditto. Marketplace only for me. The yardsale groups seem to be comprised mostly of people looking for fire sale pricing. "Why would I pay $100 for your Rogue barbell when I can get the same barbell at Walmart for $40 new?" Yeah, you go do that. :P
On one occasion, I also had a group admin stand me up. She plead with me to let her come the next day. Ok. Day 2 she shows up at my house 2.5 hours late and messages me that she's at the top of my driveway. I told her my wife is in bed now. She pissed and moaned, ranted about how group rules said I have to give her X days before going to next person and then went on her way. A couple days later she says I'm in in the neighborhood, can I come get the item? Grrrr! I know if I say no, she'll just ban me so I tell her ok. She comes and gets it, hubby literally throws the money out the car window. They drive off. Then she bans me anyway. Apparently, she was super pissed because I turned her away the day she was 2.5 hours late.

I just got my IronMaster Super Bench Pro delivered and put together. I listed my PowerTec FID with the leg ext/decline attachment on CL and FB Market for $350. I'll see if I get any bites. I noticed someone listed the same PowerTec FID as mine on FB Market for $75.

Had mine for a while now, it really deserves a full write up some day. All the benefits of the previous model and none of the negative aspects, Ironmaster absolutely nailed it with this bench. It's not necessary, but it would be interesting if they ever decided to kick it up a notch and make a full blown commercial quality version.

All the BS negotiating is through chat anyway. 1 out of 5 interests I'll be an ass because I'll need to educate them how Walmart crap doesn't compare to my listings. Just block em. I'd offer $50-60 for that bench and now you have two to sell. I did the very same thing with buying ALL Powerblocks one summer.

Had to say goodbye to my rack and calibrated Rogue plates today, but i figured there would be never another situation like now where I would be able to get full going retail on gear I've used for a few years. Luckily, I read the market right and ordered myself a Bridge Built squat stand right before everything was cleaned out, and this made all my gear expendable. Made 2 grand today, next on the purge will likely be my dumbbells and kettlebells even though I'm going to have to slow play this a bit so I can still train while my Bridge squat stand get delivered by the end of the month. The squat stand should get me through til Black Friday were I will buy a brand new rack and hopefully replace whatever DB, KB, or barbell I decide to part with. The time is now people, there will never be anything like this again!

Now I remember why I hate selling things. I'm not sure which is more annoying, the people who act super interested and disappear or the people who send me links to Rogue's website and tell me my prices are too high. I think my favorite was the $600 offer for my Model D with 25k meters on it when I got offers for $800 during normal market conditions.

You get used to it. My typical response is something along the lines of: "I agree that the prices are high, but that's simply the going rate right now."
Beyond that, I'd just suggest that if they would rather pay retail, they are free to place an order with Rogue and prepare to wait a couple months for supply to catch up with demand."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sold off 3 bars and 320lb set of comp bumpers for just shy of $2000CAD. Saw your closeout notice and that had me looking. I just bought a stainless AB training bar on closeout yesterday so I should have it within a few weeks(have to use a package forwarding company so it'll be like I paid retail in the end...) Tempted to get a new power bar as well.. either the closeout $395 AB bar or the Rep powerspeed. Or just wait until rogue puts out a power bar.
It's too bad that all I have is about 500lb of cast plates... I bought the bar to do cleans and want bumpers in case but everywhere is sold out..
