That’s not really true anymore. Maybe back in the day but these days it’s so photo realistic that everyone likes it.

Again, outdated 5 year old comment. It’s not a gimmick. It’s an extra screen in the house.

You’d have to be pretty autistic not to like it.

Maybe because you don’t know how to use it properly or what you can do with it due to lack of education and research on what is possible and how casually comfortable it can be.

Most people have what’s called “reverse buyers remorse” where they are too poor to buy it so they convince their selves they would like it or use it but in reality they just can’t afford it.

Elite commander was an interesting one but I never got the settings/controllers right. The robot shooter is excellent.

Also played thrill of the fight, boxing game. Huge cardio workout.

Also there's a rock climbing one that's worth it. If you have decent room space and don't wear glasses then I'd say Vr is worth it. Porn thru the headset is amazing.

see thats actually my biggest complaint the screen quality on them just isn't that great. I think once they bring it up to being higher quality video and allowing you to properly fine tune the lenses then I'd be about it but when I can notice the edges and the distortion towards the edges as well as pixels on the screen it really kills it for me

Op the PSVR is nice ass hell, worth every dollar. It's not perfect gameplay wise, but the immersion is definitely there. Make sure to use headphones Play Resident Evil 7 at night with the lights off for full blown effects

You mean the Rift Classic from 5 years ago?

The one that’s 2 generations behind the times.

    God you guys are retarded.

    ONCE AGAIN.

Gen 1: oculus Rift Classic, HTC Vive, PSVR (ugly screens, screen door, dull picture
Gen 1.5: HTC Vive Pro, Odyssey+, Pimax/5k/8k (higher res, still blurry screens and lenses, still screen door but closer to looking ok
Gen 2: Oculus Rift S, Valve Index (3 sub pixels displays, first time it looks good, current gen)

If you haven’t owned a Rift S or Index please be quite and stop sharing your uneducated/outdated opinions.

You guys are getting me heated to the point I might break character, seriously.

I bought an Index last year and I play VR every day. To me, it's worth it. If finances were an issue, I'd have gone with a Rift S and would be having just as much fun.

Well no kidding you think that. You literally tried the two worst headsets.

VR is effing incredible. Get yourself a powerful pc with a good headset, and you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. **** is amazing.

It's not even really a graphics thing, not everyone is a fan of some isolating helmet concept when it comes to home entertainment. It's just a lot more chill to relax on a couch and play games on a TV, VR is one of those things where it's got a niche audience that is highly enthusiastic about it who has nothing besides high praise for it, but they aren't exactly people that everyone can relate to.

Yeah I would definitely recommend getting PSVR for people who are on the fence about it. The cheap price point is what makes it a lot more accessible IMO. Just see if you enjoy it and the general concept of VR, then get more expensive PC equipment if it's your thing.

Like I said it can be just as casual as anything else. I’m laying in bed dude. It doesn’t get any more casual than that.
