The definition of "fit" seems to vary and not matter much with this virus. At first it was old people and no kids, now we got kids, teens, spring breakers and young adults as well.

The scary part is that he was seemingly showing mild symptoms one minute and the next minute needed a ventilator to keep him alive. It looks like it goes from 5/10 to 10/10 in seconds or minutes.

Dunno about the ventilator stuff but I've read a lot of stories where a fever and extreme fatigue set in within minutes out of the blue

I have run a 20 miler training and you are running for at a minimum 3 hours up to 4 or 5ish, so his lung capacity had to be decent beforehand. Very sorry to hear this.

This virus is really weird. Seems very believable that there are multiple strains circulating due to the variety of symptoms presenting from the original (high fever, dry cough) to a more recent one (mainly digestive issues), and then reports from NYC of patients showing Covid damage on CT that weren't in the ER for the virus at all (car wreck).

    Primary COVID-19 Known Symptoms

Each of these are not mutually exclusive:

    - Fever

    - Headache

    - Dry cough

    - Body aches

    - Extreme fatigue (UNOFFICIAL)

    - Bluish lips or face

    - Trouble breathing

    - Shortness of breath

    - Pain and pressure in the chest

    - Loss or diminished smell and taste (UNOFFICIAL)

    - New confusion or inability to arouse

    - Conjunctivitis - Redness of the upper and lower eyelids (UNOFFICIAL)

    - Gastrointestinal Upset - Commonly included symptoms are: Constipation, Diarrhea, Heartburn, Nausea, Stomach Pain and Vomiting (UNOFFICIAL)
This thread is the second place I have read of a fit healthy 30s age person who has landed in ICU on a vent with no underlying conditions.

No idea of accuracy, but I've also seen multiple places accounts of people who become symptomatic and then 4 or 5 days later are hospitalized and then 4 or 5 days later are dead.

Seems to be one of the biggest evolutionary dice rolls for humanity in a very long time.

I remember 6 years ago I had the worst flu I've ever had in my life. I was so pissed because I was incredibly sick the day my nephew was born. I went to the hospital to be with my family but I kept my distance. I remember driving home and when I got inside the house my body was so achy and uncontrollable to the point where I was running into walls just to get in my room and go to bed. I've also had a gnarly sinus infection where I couldn't stop coughing and I ended up sleeping on my couch in the sitting position because I couldn't sleep laying down. I think the corona is the real deal and should be avoided at all costs but I think a lot of us forget how sick we've been at some points in our lives but we got through it.

its really weird though in my country there are only 2 deaths so far yet despite so densely populated, despite having like 700 cases about 20 in ICU, but other countries are spiking so high up in deaths and icus

I’ve had coughing, chills, body aches, fatigued and not sleeping well. No chest tightness though.

i've got it i think. i was spending too much time in the stores. having symptoms i haven't experienced before such as a strange light headedness when i walk, a dry throat during the night, slight headache and stomach cramps. unexplained toothaches. they say everyone's symptoms will be different. i may just have a mild case. not sure if i want to waste resources getting a test, but i will self-quarantine for two weeks and after that enjoy going everywhere. if i do have it at least i've experienced this covid-19 to the max, lulz

LOL. Every miscer that currently has or has had in the past 3 months any of the following symptoms - cough, runny nose, diarrhea, chills, aches, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pains is convinced they had CV.

My body sort of aches kind of like i had a really intense workout. Mostly in my leg/calves they just feel really heavy. ****! Hopefully this week is better going on the third week. Damn women and their estrogen. I hear it's protective against COVID19
