    Nutrition Advice!

    Good Afternoon,

Looking for some advice. I was on a cut for about 65 days and got down to 174 lbs from 184 lbs and was pretty impressed with my results. Last 3 days I got into a bad binge and and had some massive cheat days. Thinking I probably gained a few pounds? Anyhow looking at the scale I currently weigh 177 lbs. is it possible that I went up 3 lbs in 3 days? Also curious with everything going on should I go back to my maintenance calories so I don’t lose muscle even if I did gain 3 lbs? Or should I cut back down to 174 which I was at, stay at maintenance until gyms open up again? Also I’m 26

    Please let me know !

    Thanks ,
    Spencer

Well, you DID go up 3 pounds, because the scale measures weight.

If you're asking if you gained 3 pounds of fat, then we can't know, you didn't tell us how much you ate.

if you consumed 3500 calories over maintenance every day, then yeah, that'll do it.

I would say roughly 4000 cals a day. Should I cut back down to 174 and go maintenance since I don’t have a real gym , or keep cutting while keeping protein high?

    Thanks for response

Well it's unlikely your maintenance is 1500 calories a day... so... no... it's not all fat.

Should you cut? That's a personal choice...

    1. You need less food than you think you do. Don’t overeat.
    2. Don’t micromanage your nutrients. Just eat a balanced diet.
    3. Don’t go on diets. Find a way that incorporates 1 and 2 above that works for you.
