I bought glass atomizers from Amazon to put my black phantom in. They are 10mls and they are sealed well and have great sprayers.


I still want a BP bottle though to have on display. Has any of you come across people in the frag pages selling their old bottles?

@Ninja, is olfactory completely out of Bortnikoff? I've been trying to look into one that I would like. I'm fine with florals as long as they don't lean super fem. Problem is, it's impossible to find someone who has reviewed the whole collection and can give me an idea. I'm thinking only the cologne ones would work for me. Moss or Amber.

Only Reflection. I don't like extremely complicated scents, and I don't like scents that go too dark and pungent. It just doesn't work in my climate.

I've only tested Epic Man but that's about it.

Yeah Reflection is the one I was looking at. Seems easiest to wear.

from what i remember with amber it has a nice citrus opening but then turns mostly floral, felt a bit fem for me to wear.

Ended up trading out that DUA Dark Casino royale nights i got. it was not as spot on as the Genre inspiration so i'll stick with that. I have DUA Gold Label coming, it's a dupe of Haute Luxe from Roja, we will see how it feels. Reviews say it comes off like a 300$ frag at a 100$ price tag....but Haute Luxe is 3500$ so....

It has all of the great notes that make BO amazing but it’s less harsh and a little more powdery. Obviously it’s marketed to women, but I don’t mind wearing this myself. It’s more unisex than it is say, Chanel Chance.

One thing I really like about the niche frags I bought is how heavy and premium the bottles feel. It doesn't seem that way with the Bortnikoff bottles though... They look like slightly larger Alexandria bottles.

trying out my samples of galleria cognac cafe, pdm oajan and xerjoff Italica atm. so many people on fragrantica call Italica the best gourmand ever but it doesnt do much for me on first impression. i get a lot of airy, milky almond. cognac cafe and oajan smell GREAT, especially oajan

What I'm literally dreaming for is an authentic new car leather blended with berries. Something like Ch Men with a little more leather and lovely fruit/berry notes. I would jizz for a fragrance that can capture that vibe.

Unfortunately I bought this including a couple others like "Taste of Fragrance" and no longer wear them. They smell too synthetic and when I do wear them my wife complains.

The bigger my collection gets the more I am in the same boat as Coalman where I wish I did not have so much. It is fun collecting all these fragrances, but at a point you realize a few high quality is all you want.

Something to keep in mind is why you are buying. Are you acting as a stamp collector, or are you really going to wear all these chemicals?

Another thing I notice more is how off putting it is to me when I am at the store and some young men walk by wearing these club perfumes everyone talks about. Then again I am not the target of those smells.

I find it very fresh and clean/soapy with a nice citrus (grapefruit) opening and dries down to a musky/woody scent, but it lacks longevity and sillage though. After a couple hours I could hardly smell it. It doesn't really remind me of the sea when compared to Sel Marin. But overall it's a great spring and summer scent.

I heard Dua had a clone that all the Dua fanboys seem to be hyping. Maybe it's because they fixed the performance.

To this day I haven't tried Creed MI which is a shame.
