Yeah. I will still get the PS5 all because of the games. If I wanted only graphics/power, I would have stayed with PC. And even when I was a massive PC gamer, my favorite game of all time is not even graphics extensive(Baldur's Gate 2).

Yeah, this will cost them a sale to me at least. I'm happy with my PS4 pro, so I'll just stick with that until the PS5 pro comes out, and get the Xbox first.

That was a horrible presentation by Cerny. Just a huge data dump with no console reveal or real demos to show. Sony is clearly showing they aren't as ready as MS so far. Even the backwards compatibility features in the PS5 aren't comparable to XSX. I still think Sony will ultimately put out a great product but they are looking pretty bad right now in comparison to the competition. If MS has a strong 1st party showing, which is really all they are lacking at this point, they'll win a lot of people back. Sony desperately needs some hype generated and this was not it at all.

If they don't have a Poo available at launch they are gooifing hard. We saw the Xbone release with even less of a power difference last gen and look how that worked out for them. After watching the Digital Foundry breakdown of the Sony press conference it seems like Sony has some innovative ways to solve some problems. I think Sony's ace up their sleeve could be their storage capabilities. The raw throughput and the expandable PCIE gen4 capability is a nice feature. To load 6GB in 1 second is pretty unreal. The audio engine (Tempest) and chip capabilities seems pretty cool on PS5 though it seems like an enthusiast type of feature and not something the average joe is going to either notice or care for and seems like it requires custom profiles due to how the mapping works. I think there will be many more variables to program for on PS5 due to the all these custom and new ways of handling audio, variable frequency sharing between CPU and GPU and the custom storage so It'll be interesting to hear the differences in developing for each system from a developers viewpoint.
I don't think Sony can afford to undercut MS this round as their hardware and technology sounds just as pricey and so it'll be nice to see how each camps differences will be worth it or not. Now Sony, put out some demos and show the damn thing already! Their marketing team is ass right now.
