$1,200 is not even enough to cover many people's rent or home loan payment for a single month. This is an unimaginably inadequate solution to this crisis.

People have to pay rent, they have to pay their home loans. They have bills, they're putting children through school, braces...etc. The average family can't even afford an emergency $800 expense. This stimulus money isn't enough to cover most people's rent or home loan for a single month. People are losing their jobs or having their full-time hours cut - and now you're telling me the point of this stimulus money is to buy food or spend money on small businesses.

Do you not understand how ridiculous that is? It doesn't address the financial problem people are facing in any serious way.
