    Skinny fat

    Would i be considered skinny fat? In my picture im only about 120 pounds. I was 134 when i started hitting the gym. Im eating like 2200 calories a day.

    Does it help to apply a label to yourself? You have to gain muscle and lose fat just like everyone else. There is nothing particular that you need to do differently.

    I would recommend phases of mass gain followed by fat loss.
    - for 3 months eat enough to gain 1-2lbs a month. Weight train, push for progression. Eat enough protein
    - for 1 months eat a reduced number of calories to lose 2-3lbs a month. Weight train, push for progression. Eat enough protein
