What changes can we expect to see in terms of policy? Higher tariffs on medical supplies so? Tax breaks to American manufacturers of medical supplies? More willingness to ban flights from countries experiencing outbreaks?
What are the thoughts of both the left and right?

Get back to basics.
Write down the fukking plan for responding to viruses and practice it.
Address as many of the "underlying conditions" as we can so viruses are less concerning.
Legit, full Nelson border security that includes biological screenings of everyone entering the country.
Something to ensure tax collected from Americans can only be spent on America. If your little cruise line needs a bailout you better be sailing American made boats, then maybe we can talk.

stop dealing with countries that don't promote or uphold western ideals.
You can't have economic freedom without political freedom.
Westerns countries should forge stronger trade and cultural ties and help promote a freer society, USA, UK Australia, Japan, Most of Western Europe
Only trade or deal with Anti-western countries if we have to, Saudi, Russia, China
This isn't about the West the Imperialist telling the other nations what to do, they can do what they want but if you want to trade with the West you must be transparent like them, Fair and legal justice systems, rule of law for everyone etc..

There's going to be an increased emphasis on decoupling from China, especially for anything that's critical to our national security. While I'm sure Russia & China got a kick out of watching the US reel over this, and may have gained some tactical or strategic insight, it's only going to push the US to further insulate itself from threats like this in the future. Specifically in relation to the WuFlu, because a lot of medical products are produced in China, we're going to see medical supply chains continue to shift so that we won't put ourselves at-risk to disruptions that may occur on behalf of China. Whether that's pushing production to the lower Americas or Europe or domestically, who knows.
The world won't forget that China kept this outbreak hidden behind the Great Wall for quite some time. They can play all the PR games they want, 10s of thousands dead around the world will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of the West and give US more fuel for their anti-China fire.

I'm sure she had her reasons. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I suspect Sanders has quietly informed everyone that he is dropping out and Biden will be the nominee. That or she just concluded Bernie couldn't win. Another possibility is that she betrayed her base and was lying the entire time. We'll just have to see. Anyway, I'm voting Biden if he is the nominee.
The collapse of the US economy (which is inevitable whether you go back to work or not) will lead to a huge power void, which can lead to political instability and war. It isn't far fetched at all. The nuclear hypersonic situation is disturbing right now. We have no treaties. The world is the least safe it has ever been. We're probably seconds from midnight now.

Trump minions really are stupid huh.
The entire reason why they make it in CYHNA in the first place was because they make it faster, better, and cheaper.
If you move to "ally" countries, the price of your goods will shoot up 10x and no one will buy it. So now youre really in a hole because you own us Trillions.
