    Fierce 5 progression and RPE

I’ve been on fierce 5 for three months now and have made progress. I’m a newbie. Got poverty lifts and I’m wondering why I’m getting stalled so much.

First question is, what RPE level should my last rep be on the last set? I find myself going to failure most of the times - usually RPE 9 or even 10. Like - not a single clean rep could have been had on that 5th rep.

Is that ok? Should I e working with lower weights? If yes, how the fuk do I progress then? Overtraining is probably not an issue.

    I’m 5ft 8inches 167lbs

Bench - 130lbs x 5 (reset twice already was up to 135lbs but had to reset cuz I failed twice. Working back up)
Deadlift - 195 x 5 (reset at 185lbs. Worked my way back up from 165lbs. And last rep of 195 is sloppy - definitely REP 10)
OHP - 95 x 5 (reset at 95 Down to 80 and worked my way back up to 95. Today I got 3 sets of 95 x 5 - but last rep was a bitch RPE 10 for sure)
Squat - well these suck for me. I’m still trying to learn squats I guess. 105 x 5 and sometimes I do 90 x 8. Squats hurt my hips and knees. Probably my form or something)

Should I continue upping weight even if last workout last set last rep was RPE 10? Like I know for sure next workout I’ll fail.

    I’m eating 250 above maintenance.
**^^ Work hard AND more importantly, work smart ^^**

Take 7 days off from the gym. Let your body deload. When you come back, try decreasing all the weights about 25% and doing the same RPE. You don't need to train to failure on every set. It may seem easy and you may wonder if you are going to have any gains, but give it a try for another 3 months.
