How do you guys see the future of Airline business?

Now here especially between 2006-2018 it peaked. As long as you could finance the pilot training your chances of getting hired was around 90%. And an average entry level first officer made like 12 times min wage, a captain double that. Now every guy with a dad who makes above average is getting a pilot license.

What do you think of it? Will airlines recover from current crisis?

I am planning on starting training but it ain't exactly cheap (around 75k dollars). No point in wasting all that if I am gonna end up as some call center operator/ reception clerk etc with a useless ATPL
Country music crew (old& modern& rock-mix don't care), you know a good tune, send away will rep *

Certain airlines will definitely rebound. Most young people live for traveling, myself included. Demand will be weak for the next year or so while we shake out from this downturn, but the ones that survive will be back and stronger than ever. That doesn't even include the fact that most business will still be conducted in-person as long as it's economically feasible to do so. As all the complaints about WFH so far have indicated, it's way, way easier to get work done when you're in the same room versus trying to do **** over Zoom or whatever the phuck.

Look at the retirement numbers for pilots at major airlines over the next 10 years. No matter what, they will have to hire massive amounts of pilots. And right now, part 91 and 135 flight departments need pilots badly because many left for the airlines. This virus thing will be a blip.
