    Breakfast ideas

Getting really bored of chicken, oatmeal, eggs etc. What are some things that everyone else eats early in the morning? Oh and i need it to be able to be prepared either ahead of time or very quickly. I have limited time in the morning.

I buy 3-5 pounds of hamburger and make it into 5-6 oz patties. I cook them all on my pellet grill, and have one or two for dinner. The rest go on a plate covered with plastic wrap, and it goes in the fridge. In the morning I take one out and microwave it for 15-30 seconds, put some mustard on it and eat it.

I usually the opt for a protein shake and coffee but I'm not very hungry in the morning and it lets me save cals for later. Have you considered smoothies? If you don't like the quick and easy stuff you may need to consider waking up earlier and making something else.

Wrap up various meats, veggies, cheeses in a tortilla. I love making breakfast burritos.

    Oatmeal with banana and/or raisins
    Cereal
    Protein bar

Sometimes I’ll buy frozen biscuits so I can cook one at a time and make sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits. Fresh-baked biscuits are the best.

Take a hand full of almonds and stir them in some yogurt. Takes about 30 seconds to make and a minute to eat, no dishes except for a spoon. I usually do this a couple times a week in place of a shake, then eat eggs about 2 hours later.

Eggs are the obvious choice - easy and high in protein. And very versatile, you can do a lot with eggs.

I'm basic, I either do 2-3 whole eggs plus a cup of whites and toast, or a shake.

Lately though I've just been skipping breakfast doing that half-ass IF.

Another favorite I just thought of are Kodiak pancake mix, high protein pancakes, they also make frozen waffles too.

Turkey sausage. I found some good precooked patties. 2 patties has 110 calories 5g of fat 270mg sodium and 16g of protein. Sodium may be a little high at 11% of your daily value per serving but it taste awesome.

I usually make breakfast burritos with them using whole grain tortillas, cartoned egg whites, and salsa.

Just curious, but why do you weigh out your oats and not the more calorie-dense foods like PB? Or are the oats an estimation as well? Can't remember if you said you were or weren't tracking at the moment.

I've been eating a lot of ground turkey lately. Eat it with eggs, rice, etc.. idk but it's damn good. I like to cook it with olive oil or simultaneously with turkey bacon and it comes out great every time. Super high in protein and relatively low in fat compared to other meats.

On a side note, has anyone tried Greg Doucette's protein french toast recipe? I watched the video and even noticed the recipe mentioned in an article on bodybuilding breakfasts linked below. It looks pretty good, might have to check that one out.
