Looks like American Barbell has added ALOT of stuff to their current sale, barbells galore.....
https://americanbarbell.com/collections/home-gym-sale
Edit: Be cautious, most appear to be 'Closeout' bars, which could arrive in unknown condition (yikes).Last edited by urbanlifter; 03-27-2020 at 06:20 AM.

Sold my last 5435 yesterday. It did stay there for a while like a week or so. Had a slight tear in the seat. Buyer was aware and drive an hour to get it. Told the buyer to get new seat cover from FSP. I did like the bench. But i guess i got spoiled with 12" padding and had too many incline benches. Rogue AB-2 5435 and York (Custom made)
Now, i am what i consider to normal with one flat bench and one incline bench . I may have another flat one just the frame made locally not sure yet. I have wide pad for it already.
Yes, if you want to upgrade your gym this is the time. squat stands, racks, Plates, bars, bumpers and dumbbells will be sold in a day at the most.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

Never thought I would hear myself say this, but I get it. The current market for adjustable benches is INSANE, with companies like REP actually listening to their customers and Ironmaster making revisions to their time-tested design. Gone are the days when you had to settle for a bench that was either overpriced (Bodycraft), wobbly (Powertec), too high when flat (IM), squishy padding (IM again), had Michael Strahan sized pad gap (Body-Solid), or was just plain ugly (York FTS).
Bullchit 'Deal of the Day Award' goes to: $585 bench on Amazon

Fat Gripz are on sale now with free shipping, so after all these years I finally decided to get a pair of the original blue ones.
I had a gift card for amazon which I might've used for them, but given the circumstances, I didn't want to order something non-essential and get in the way of the people ordering who need the essentials, so I went through Fat Gripz official site to get 'em.
No idea on how the process will go through with them during the pandemic, but according to the free shipping option on their site it says 5-8 business days. I'll let them air out a bit upon receiving them.
Primary uses I want to try them out on are on my trapbar, neutral grip pull up bar handles, cable attachments and maybe the Ironmasters too.

It’s the same type of ppl in the grocery stores who have been hogging all the damn tp, baby wipes, and wiping out a bunch of the food too.... meats and frozen ****
It’s annoying
I wonder how long it’s gonna take places like Rogue to have power racks and squat stands available again.... gonna have to legit go to a damn public park just to even do pull-ups prob#FreeCryptoBandit

Making me really consider dumping off my no-name urethane grip plates. I still have like 1300# of York iron and 900# of comp bumpers to "get by", and I just really haven't grown to love them like I thought I would. At the same time, I doubt anyone is going to buy all of them at once, and I don't feel like dealing with 10 different buyers. Decisions...

Lmao. Nobody is hoarding the power racks. There are thousands upon thousands of people working from home, sheltering in place, or in quarantine, with no access to the company or commercial gym they've been going to. A high percentage of these folks are buying equipment so they can continue to work out.

What Stasher said. I don't think many people are actively hoarding more gym equipment right now. They're just trying to put together what they can since every gym is closed and every equipment place is backed up for months. Not nearly the same as the guys who bought up 5000 rolls of TP so they can hoard or resell it. The hoarders had all of their iron already.

If anything, the hoarders would be selling their collections right now for massive profits, and rebuying when all this blows over and the market is saturated with cheap used equipment.
Hell, I don't really have anything left that is isn't used on a regular basis by me, my wife, or my son...but I still find myself looking around the gym to see what we can live without for a few months."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Totally agree on this. Pricing is even amazing to the point where I get enthusiastic and I'm not someone who swaps out equipment. No more settle for less, home gym options today best the commercial options you find in gyms now IMO just on pad width (12" is pretty standard now) and firmness alone.

Really funny story at bottom so not doing this to debate on firearms but context will set this up.
Anyway usually AR wins that argument for home defense in most cases for an average person.
-Accuracy - effective shots where fewer rounds means less misses
-Small light round is A LOT safer in urban environments where over penetration is an issue. Very effective in direct hits but safer after encountering intermediate barriers than service caliber pistol or shotgun (assuming you are loaded with 00 Buck or slug). This is also why you see AR proliferation in LEO agencies as sending a spread of 00 through the neighborhood/building/adjecent bedrooms risks collateral human damage)
-No chance of short stroking and running a shotgun under stress speaks to a need for training as you should be topping it off due to limited capacity. Being effective under stress potentially against multiple adversaries indoors does not argue shotgun pump or auto without some real work training to keep it running.
To the story, I was attending some training that focused on room clearing, movement in structures, and low light/visibility specifically with scenarios where one is working alone. Let me tell you room clearing in teams BLOWS but alone it's something you should never do unless absolutely necessary. Sadly it sometimes is so you train it including force on force scenarios also with innocents (fake ones comprised from training group) around because that could happen too and identifying threats/targets is important so you don't shoot anything that moves.
People in class/instructor won't be named but former MIL/LEO guys with a lot of experience including SWAT trainer for large regions and 20 year SF veteran. AR vs Shotgun comes up during a meal break in a defensive "holed up" scenario of bunkering down at home with loved ones. Class is decently stacked with experience so they've heard every angle of the AR/Shotgun argument before. Head instructor says he prefers a pump shotgun Remington 870 with extended mag tube. Gets some WTF looks from people. He answers it with, "I know...I know what you are going to say but I have my reasons. You see, I've shot multiple people high center mass at close range with an 870 and 00 buck. Every one has gone down and I've seen exactly what that does to a human body. I'm a very loyal person and this is the specific effect I'm looking for."▪█─────█▪ Rogue Barbell Crew #27 ▪█─────█▪

Urban, thanks man. I was a bit weary of getting the Extremes for that exact reason, I have BWTG's 2.5" fat curl bar with knurling (luckily it came standard with it) and couldn't even imagine using that bar if it was smooth on some movements, let alone 2.75" smooth Fat Gripz Extremes (I got long fingers, but Andre the Giant I'm far from lol).
Greybird, I was thinking of getting those black and orange ones in a two pair combo deal with the blue ones (to use for neutral grip pull ups as well for a different varying diameter), but decided to test the waters with the original blues first to see how I like 'em...if I decide to get those 1.75" ones later on it seems the pricing isn't bad on their site and free shipping!

Whoa! I'm seriously contemplating whether I should sell my plates at that price range although I only got 265 lbs worth of olympic grip plates and do use them for the cable machine and fat dumbbell handles...I might have extra plates in the basement to make up for them and at this rate may even be able to get better used ones later on and pocket some of the profit!
